Settings mode
Certain settings on the appliance can
only be selected in settings mode.
Activating and deactivating the
safety lock
Setting the temperature display

Settings mode is represented in the dis-
play by the menu symbol .
The procedure for accessing settings
mode and for changing settings is de-
scribed below.
Activating and deactivating the safety
lock
The safety lock can be activated to pre-
vent the appliance being turned off by
mistake.
– To activate the lock
Press the button for approx.5sec-
onds.
The menu symbol lights up and
flashes in the display.
Settings mode has now been activated.
Press the button briefly to access
the lock function.
will appear in the display.
Press the button briefly to activate
the lock.
The lock symbol lights up.
Press the on/off button to exit Set-
tings mode.
The temperature will appear in the dis-
play.
– To deactivate the lock
Press the button for approx.5sec-
onds.
The lock symbol and the Menu sym-
bol will light up and will start flash-
ing in the display.
Settings mode has now been activated.
Press the button briefly to access
the lock function.

Press the button briefly to deacti-
vate the lock.
The lock symbol will go out.
Press the on/off button to exit Set-
tings mode.
The temperature of the Fridge Zone will
appear in the display.
Changing the temperature unit (Cel-
sius or Fahrenheit)
The temperature can be displayed in ei-
ther Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C). The
factory default is Fahrenheit °F.
– To change the temperature display
to Celsius
Press the button for approx. 5sec-
onds.
The menu symbol lights up and
flashes in the display.
Settings mode is now activated.
Press the button to access the
“Change temperature unit” function.
