wirelessdeviceandapacemakertoavoidpotentialinterferencewiththe

pacemaker.Theserecommendationsareconsistentwiththeindependent

researchbyandrecommendationsofWirelessTechnologyResearch.

Personswithpacemakers:

•ShouldALWAYSkeepthedevicemorethansix(6)inchesfromtheir

pacemakerwhenthedeviceisturnedON;

•Shouldnotcarrythedeviceinabreastpocket;

•Shouldusetheearoppositethepacemakertominimizethepotentialfor

interference;

•ShouldturnthetabletOFFimmediatelyifthereisanyreasontosuspect

thatinterferenceistakingplace.

Hearing Aids

Somedigitalwirelessdevicemayinterferewithsomehearingaids.Inthe

eventofsuchinterference,youmaywanttoconsultyourserviceprovider(or
