Using aluminum foil (cont.)
Placethe aluminum foil container ina glass bowl
and add some Water so that it covers the bottomof
the container, but notmore than 1/4in. (.64cm)
deep. This ensures even heatingof the container
bottom.
Always remove thecontainer lid toavoid damage
to the oven.
Use only undamagedcontainers.
Do not use containers tallerthan 3/4in. (1.9cm).
Container must be at least halffilled.
To avoid arcing, there must bea minimum !/4 in.
(.64cm) between the aluminum container and the
walls of the oven and also between two aluminum
containers.
Always place the container on the glass tray.
Shield parts offood that may cook quickly, such
as wing tips and leg ends of poultry,with small
pieces ofaluminum foil."
Heating food inaluminum foil containers usually
takes up todouble thetime compared to reheating
in plastic,glass, china, or paper containers.
The time when food isready will vary depending
upon the type of container you use.
Let food stand for 2 to 3 minutes after heatingso
that heat isspread evenly throughout container.
