Interior lighting
Problem Possible cause Solution
The LED lighting on
the shelves does
not work.
To avoid overheating, the
lighting turns itself off
automatically after approx.
15 minutes if the door is left
open.

Close the appliance door.
When the door is opened
again, the interior lighting
will come on.
The LED lighting on the
stainless steel strip is faulty.

Replace the stainless
steel strip with LED
lighting. It can be ordered
from Miele Technical Ser
-
vice or your dealer.
Do not remove the light
cover. If the cover is
damaged or has been
removed as a result of
being damaged, use
caution. Never use
optical instruments
(magnifying glass or
similar devices) to view
the lighting, as it contains
lasers (class 1M laser
radiation).
There are live electrical
components under the
light cover. Risk of injury
and damage!
