appliance settings will be restored (the yellow light “2” will turn off), then turn the thermo-
stat dial to the normal working position.
REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT
There is ample space available, arranged so that it can be put to the best use.
DEFROSTING
The refrigerating compartment defrosts automatically whenever the compressor is not
working. During these periods the water drops that are formed from the melting frost drain
into an appropriate container located over the compressor, which, with the heat it genera-
tes, causes it to evaporate.
It is advisable not to place either food or the container against the back panel.
Models with drink dispenser
Some models are equiped with a drink dispenser, which comprises of a bottle storage
unit with drip tray fitted to the door inner panel.
User instruction
1) Fig. 6A - Pull out the drip tray "K'' which clippes in place. Then remove container "H"
from the inner door panel by lifting it upwards.
2) Remove dispenser "Z" from "H". Screw "Z" into the bottle, then insert the bottle into
container "H".
3) Fig. 6B - Position the container unit "H" in the inner door panel by fixing it to the appro-
priate shelf supports. To secure it to the inner door panel push the unit upwards and
insert the drip tray "K".
The dispenser is now ready for use.
4) To dispense a cold drink, place the rim of the glass underneath the three levers and
push upwards.
5) Cleaning the drip tray-Pull forward the drip tray "K" and remove from the dispensing
unit.Clean the area where the liquid has collected and replace the drip tray after cleaning.
N.B.:It is necessary to rinse the drip tray with water more frequently if sweet drinks are
regularly despensed.
CLEANING
To prevent the formation of unpleasant smells, it is recommended that the refrigerator be
cleaned periodically, at least two or three times a year.
a) Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the
power supply by pulling out the plug (it is not sufficient to set the thermostat control
to "
0").
b) Remove all food and ice cubes from the refrigerator.
c) Clean the interior of the refrigerator using lukewarm water ino which has been dissol-
ved one or two spoonfuls of bicarbonate of soda, rinse and dry. IMPORTANT: do not
use detergents, abrasives or soap.
d) Before putting food back into the refrigerator, allow it is operate for at least one hour.
e) Keep the drain hole clean by means of the special tool (fig.5) which may be left inser-
ted in the hole.
If the refrigerator is out of use for a long period it should be left unplugged with its doors
partially open.
