Test Bob’s edge detecting sensors
Right after putting bObsweep into checkup mode, look at the screen. You should
see four lights indicating AUTO, TIME, SPOT, and UV (bObsweep Standard), or
TROUBLE NR, MIN CLEANING, CAPACITY, and CHARGING (bObsweep PetHair),
as well as a letter or number in the center of Bob’s display lit on the display. If all
four lights didn’t turn ON upon entering the checkup mode, ip bObsweep over
and clean the edge detecting sensors with a clean cloth. Check again to see if the
lights will turn ON. If the problem persists, Bob’s sensors may need to be changed.

To check the edge detecting sensors, lift up bObsweep (more than 15cm) from the
oor. You will see that the four lights will turn o.
Do not press any buttons on bObsweep and continue to the next step.
Test the wall and obstable detecting sensors
Keep bObsweep in the same mode as before. Place him back on the oor. Use
a thick, at, and white surface, to imitate a wall and drag it around Bob’s bumper.
On bObsweep PetHair, the 5 indicators along the top of the display will light up, as
you move your imitation wall around the bumper.
On bObsweep Standard, the following signs light up on the screen one after an-
other: Third battery bar , Second battery bar, First battery bar, The word Dirty, The
word Error.
