Changing a lamp
The halogen lamps become very hot
during operation.
They can cause burns even after
being switched off for some time.
Allow the lamps to cool down for a
few minutes before changing them.
The lamps should be replaced with
lamps of the same type.
These lamps are available from Miele.
Disconnect the rangehood from the
mains electrical supply before
replacing the lamps (see "Warning
and Safety instructions").
Unscrew the fixing screws on the
decor ring.
Take the lamp unit out.
Press the halogen lamp out of the
holder from the back. Do not let it fall
on the cooktop below.
Press a new halogen lamp (20W) into
the holder. Replace the lamp unit and
then screw the decor ring back on.
