Long p-wash Normal
If you require a longer pre-wash, you
can extend the standard pre-wash
time of 25minutes.
Options

37-minute pre-wash
Soak duration
You can set a duration for the soak
process of between 30minutes and
6hours.
A duration can be selected in 30-minute
increments. When the Soak extra option
is selected, the laundry will be soaked
for the duration selected.
The machine is delivered with a dura-
tion of 0:30hours.
Gentle action
With gentle action activated, drum ro-
tation is reduced. In this way, lightly
soiled items can be washed more gen-
tly.
Gentle action can be activated for the
Normal and the Wrinkle-free programs.
Gentle action is switched off in the de-
fault setting.
Temp. reduction
At high altitudes water has a lower
boiling point. Miele recommends acti-
vating the reduce temperature setting
at altitudes of or above 6560ft
(2,000m) to prevent water from boil-
ing. The maximum temperature is re-
duced to 176°F (80°C), even if a higher
temperature is selected.
The temperature reduction setting is
switched off in the default setting.
