Active iron board
The steam ironing system uses a fan
that sucks away the steam or uses the
inflation function to inflate the ironing
board for optimum positioning while
ironing garments.
The , or , buttons on the
iron control the fan in the ironing board.
Suction function
The suction function ensures the steam
permeates the textiles in an optimal
way. At the same time, the suction
avoids the formation of condensation
on the ironing board. the suction func-
tion holds the garment in place and en-
sures it does not shift on the ironing
board.
Inflation function
The inflation function forms a cushion of
air between the fabric and the ironing
board. This helps prevent seams being
pressed into the garment. The inflation
function allows you to iron without flat-
tening the fabric.
Tip: The inflation function also assists
with ironing ruffles and sequins.
Automatic switch on/off
The automatic switch on/off feature en-
sures that the fan starts at exactly the
right moment. If the steam function is
being used, the fan starts automatically.
If steam is no longer needed, the fan
will stop after a short run-on time.
