CAUSE FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY AND VOID THE
WARRANTY.
• This appliance has important markings on the plug blade. The
attachment plug or entire cord set is not suitable for replacement. If
damaged, the appliance should be replaced.

If the NutriBullet Balance malfunctions or is dropped, or damaged
in any manner, discontinue use and contact Customer Service for
further assistance.
• At all times, avoid contact with moving parts.
• Keep hands and utensils away from the cutting blade while
chopping or blending food to reduce the risk of severe personal
injury or damage to the device. A scraper may be used, but only
when the blender/food chopper is not running and the NutriBullet
Balance is unplugged.
• NEVER LEAVE THE NUTRIBULLET BALANCE UNATTENDED
WHILE IT IS IN USE.

TO RUN FOR MORE THAN ONE MINUTE AT A TIME, AS IT
CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR. IF THE
MOTOR STOPS WORKING, UNPLUG THE POWER BASE AND
LET IT COOL FOR AN HOUR BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE
IT AGAIN. YOUR NUTRIBULLET BALANCE HAS AN INTERNAL
THERMAL BREAKER THAT SHUTS OFF THE UNIT WHEN IT
OVERHEATS. THE POWER BASE WILL RESET WHEN THE UNIT
IS UNPLUGGED AND THE THERMAL BREAKER COOLS DOWN.
• To reduce the risk of injury and leakage, make sure the blade base
is securely screwed onto the cup before placing it on the Power
Base and operating the NutriBullet Balance.
• Do not use NutriBullet Balance outdoors. Do not allow the
NutriBullet Balance to be exposed to inclement weather elements
such as rain or other wet conditions.
• NEVER PUT YOUR HANDS OR UTENSILS NEAR THE MOVING
BLADE and never use your hands or utensils to press the activator
buttons down while the NutriBullet Balance is plugged in.

• The NutriBullet Balance is not intended for use in microwave
ovens. Do not place the NutriBullet Balance cups, power base or
any accessories in a microwave as this may result in damage to its
various parts.
• To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the device, keep
hands and utensils away from the cutting blade.
• Never blend carbonated beverages. Built-up pressure from
released gases can cause the sealed cup to burst, resulting in
possible injury.
• To prevent leakage when creating a recipe, ALWAYS make sure
that the ingredients do not extend above the MAX line.
• DO NOT PUT HOT LIQUIDS OR INGREDIENTS IN ANY
BLENDING VESSEL BEFORE BLENDING. START WITH COOL OR
ROOM TEMPERATURE INGREDIENTS. HEATED INGREDIENTS
CAN CREATE INTERNAL PRESSURE IN A SEALED BLENDING
VESSEL, WHICH MAY ERUPT ON OPENING AND CAUSE
THERMAL INJURY.

• CAUTION! Friction from the rotating blade can cause ingredients
to heat and generate internal pressure in the sealed vessel. Do
not continuously operate for more than one minute. If the vessel
is warm to touch, allow it to cool before carefully opening it
pointed away from your body.
• Extract for no longer than 1 minute. If more extraction is needed,
wait 1 minute, then repeat the extraction process in 1 minute
intervals up to three times as needed to achieve the desired
consistency. If more than three 1-minute extractions are needed,
allow the Power Base to cool for 2-3 minutes after the third
extraction before beginning the next round.
• Never permit any blended mixture to sit inside a sealed vessel
without first releasing internal pressure.
• Do not allow blended mixtures to sit for long periods of time in
a sealed container. The sugars in the fruit and vegetables can
ferment, creating gas and causing pressure to build up and
expand in the vessel which can cause ingredients to burst and
spray out when moved or opened.

• Never use the NutriBullet Balance to blend ingredients without
adding liquid in as doing so may damage the blade.
• The cyclonic action of your NutriBullet Balance requires the use
of liquids to make NutriBlasts and other nutritious beverages. The
NutriBullet Balance is not intended to be used as an ice crusher,
and not without liquids. To make a delicious cold NutriBlast, we
suggest that you use frozen fruit and chilled liquids. Alternatively,
you may add crushed ice, up to 25% of the total cup volume, with
water or other liquid filled up to the “MAX” line. Do not crush ice or
other hard items without liquid, as such prolonged use over time
may dull or damage the blades. Always inspect your blades before
each use.
• To stop the motor, twist the cup to release it from the lock mode,
and at the same time, press the cup/blade assembly down and wait
for the motor to power down completely.
• Never remove the cup and blade assembly from the power base
until the motor comes to a complete stop. Removing the cup/
blade assembly while the power base is still running may cause

WARNING: VENTILATION CAUTION
• Always operate the NutriBullet Balance on a level surface,
leaving unobstructed space beneath and around the power
base to permit proper air circulation. Slots and openings on the
bottom of the NutriBullet Balance are provided for ventilation
to ensure reliable motor operation and to prevent over-heating.

CLEANING THE NUTRIBULLET BALANCE
Everyone hates cleaning up, which is just one more reason
the NutriBullet Balance is such a wonderful time saver.
WARNING:
• ALWAYS UNPLUG THE NUTRIBULLET BALANCE WHEN
CLEANING OR ASSEMBLING.
Cleaning the NutriBullet Balance is so easy… simply place
any of the pieces (except for the Power Base, Smart Sensor

Scale, and blades) on the top shelf of the dishwasher or
hand wash with warm soapy water and rinse.
WARNING:

DISHWASHER BUT ONLY ON THE TOP RACK USING THE

Stubborn Cleanup
If ingredients dry inside the NutriBullet Balance, make your
cleanup a snap by filling the cup about 2/3 full with room

temperature soapy water and screw on the Extractor Blade.
Place the cup assembly on the NutriBullet Balance, power base
for about 20-30 seconds. This will loosen the stuck ingredients,
and with a light scrub, you’ll be all done.
CLEANING THE NUTRIBULLET BALANCE POWER
BASE & SCALE
For the most part the power base doesn’t really get dirty, but if you
neglect to twist the blade on to the cup tightly, liquids can leak out
and get into the base and activator buttons. If this happens please
use the following cleaning instructions.
Step 1: The most important thing is to UNPLUG the power base
before cleaning!
Step 2: Make sure the blade is not attached to the power base.

Step 3: Remove the Smart Sensor Scale from the power base.
Step 4: Wipe the Smart Sensor Scale with a damp cloth until
clean.
Step 5: Wipe the well in the bottom of the power base with a
damp cloth until clean.
Step 6: Replace the Smart Sensor Scale by lining up the
arrow
on the Disc to the arrow in the well of the power base.
Gently press down until the disc is level.

wireless technology to connect to the Balance App
on your smartphone or tablet.
To connect the Balance Blender to your device:
1. Make sure your smart device has Bluetooth® wireless
technology turned on.

2. Open the NutriBullet Balance App.
3. Plug in your NutriBullet Balance Blender; the button’s blue light will
blink three times and go o.
4. The Balance Blender will connect to the App automatically, and the
blue light will come on. See the following section if it does not.
Troubleshooting
Using with Multiple Devices
Your NutriBullet Balance Blender can only connect to one device at a
time. If you are having trouble connecting, make sure the Balance Blender
is not connected to a dierent device. If your Balance Blender is still
connected to a previously used device, quit the NutriBullet Balance App
running on that device. The Balance Blender will disconnect automatically.

This is called Manual Mode. This mode is used for simply blending.

Manual Mode.

Fit the vessel Blade-side down onto the
Power Base, aligning the actuator tabs. Press
down to begin extraction, gently rotating the Cup
clockwise to lock the cup in place. Extract for no
longer than 1 minute. If more extraction is needed,
wait 1 minute, then repeat the extraction process
in 1 minute intervals up to three times as needed
to achieve the desired consistency. If more than
three 1-minute extractions are needed, allow the
Power Base to cool for 2-3 minutes after the third
extraction before beginning the next round.
NOTE: If the unit is not allowed to cool as instructed, a safety
feature triggers that will power off the unit and temporarily
render it non-functioning. To reset this safety feature, simply
unplug the unit for 15 seconds and plug it back in. Unit will
resume normal function.

To turn o the NutriBullet Balance —
simply twist in the opposite direction
(counter-clockwise) to release the tabs and
stop pressing down on the Cup. Once the
Power Base stops completely, remove the
Cup from the Power Base.

CAUTION:
Do not run the Power Base in excess of 1 minute per interval. Do not run the Power Base for
more than three 1-minute intervals without allowing it to cool for 2-3 minutes after the third
extraction. Running the motor for more than 1 minute consecutively in any interval may result
in permanent damage to the Power Base.
Friction from the rotating Blade when extracting can cause ingredients to heat and generate
internal pressure in the sealed vessel. If the vessel is warm to touch, allow to cool before
carefully opening it pointed away from your body.

Cleaning the NutriBullet Balance

Smart Sensor Scale and Well
For the most part the Power Base doesn’t really get dirty, but if you
neglect to twist the Blade onto the Cup tightly, liquids can leak out
and get into the Base and actuator tabs. If this happens please use the
following cleaning instructions.
Step 1: The most important thing is to UNPLUG the Power Base
before cleaning!
Step 2: Make sure the Blade is not attached to the Power Base.

Wipe the Smart

damp cloth until clean.
NOTE: The Smart Nutrition Sensor is a
delicately calibrated scale. Handle with
care. If it is dropped or jarred it may
damage the calibration causing it not
to connect or detect the placement of
the Cup. If this occurs, please contact
customer service for assistance.
