#1 Can you install apps like Netflix or Youtube? Have you got Wi-Fi?

If they have Wi-Fi, I have not tried installing apps, an option appears in the menu, you can also use the cell phone or iPad as a double screen.

#2 Can it be played from an iPhone?

Yes of course!! It works great with the iphone. I have the 11 pro and it's great. You'll be able to connect with bluetooth or wifi and even screen mirroring. Be careful as long as the projector is the bluetooth version.
