Tire Pressure Monitor TPM
The indicator light lights up: the Tire
Pressure Monitor reports a low tire in‐
flation pressure or a flat tire. Follow the
information in the Check Control message.
The indicator light flashes and then continu‐
ously lights up: no flat tire or loss of tire infla‐
tion pressure can be detected.
▷ Interference caused by systems or devices
with the same radio frequency: after leav‐
ing the area of the interference, the system
automatically becomes active again.
▷ TPM was unable to complete the reset. Re‐
set the system again.
▷ A wheel without TPM wheel electronics is
mounted: have it checked by a dealer’s
service center or another qualified service
center or repair shop as needed.
▷ Malfunction: have the system checked by a
dealer’s service center or another qualified
service center or repair shop.

Steering system

working.

ter or repair shop.
Emissions
▷ The warning light lights up:
Emissions are deteriorating. Have
the vehicle checked as soon as pos‐
sible.
▷ The warning light flashes under certain cir‐
cumstances:
This indicates that there is excessive misfir‐
ing in the engine.
Reduce the vehicle speed and have the sys‐
tem checked immediately; otherwise, seri‐
ous engine misfiring within a brief period
can seriously damage emission control
components, in particular the catalytic con‐
verter.

Acoustic pedestrian protection inactive
Acoustic pedestrian protection deacti‐
vated or possibly not working.
Have the system checked by a dealer’s
service center or another qualified service cen‐
ter or repair shop.
Green lights
Turn signal
Turn signal switched on.
Unusually rapid flashing of the indicator
light indicates that a turn signal bulb
has failed.

switched on.
