3 Press PORTABLE on the 2-way remote
control.
➜ The display on the 2-way remote control
shows Portable Player mode; to change mode
press other Source keys.
4 External hard disk audio player:
a. turn down the volume to avoid noise
distortion
b. press the PLAY key to start playback
5 To adjust the volume, press VOL+/- on the 2-
way remote control or use the sound controls
on your external device
Helpful hint:
–For the 2-way remote control to exit the
Portable Player mode, press REFRESH or the
source buttons (e.g. CD/MP3-CD, HD, SOURCE).
10.3 Playing other external
sources
It is possible to play from an external source on
the Center or Station after connecting the audio
output, e.g.TV,VCR, Laser Disc player, DVD
player.You can also record the audio output to
the music library in the hard disk of the Center.
1 Check that the external device is properly
connected (see 3.3.4 Installation: Connecting
other additional devices)
2 Check that the Center or Station is switched on
or is already in standby mode (see 5.Basic
functions).
3 On the Center or Station: press SOURCE once
or more times to select AUX.
