GLUTEN-FREE Margherita Pizza
Created in honor of an Italian queen and decked out in the
colors of the Italian flag, this simplest of pizzas is also among
the tastiest. Feel free to try it with your favorite homemade or
purchased pizza dough if gluten-free is not your thing.
1. Lightly spray Food Mover™ cooking pan with cooking spray.
2. Stretch pizza dough to fit the Food Mover™ cooking pan; the
dough should be about ¼-inch thick.
3. Brush the top of dough with the oil. Sprinkle with garlic
powder, then spread the tomato sauce to just shy of the
edges. Sprinkle evenly with the Parmesan, then distribute the
mozzarella evenly—it won’t cover the entire pizza.
4. Situate the cooking pan so that half is inside the unit and the
other half is resting on the entrance door.
5. Set the Food Mover™ to Pizza setting.
Note: Turn off the Frozen setting by pressing the Frozen
button; it should turn from blue (on) to white (off).
6. Bake until the cheese has melted and the crust is golden
brown.
7. Top with the basil and serve immediately.
