ProForm PFTL59515 Questions and Answers

#1 How close to vertical does this fold up to?

It gets close, but still takes up about 2.5 feet of space. I added 3 photos (sorry for the bad angle) to my review "Circuit Breaker Tripping - Solved". You should be able to get a good idea of how much space it takes up when raised.

#2 Does it have a shelf for a book or ipad>

Yes, but it is terrible for an iPad... I have not tried a book at all. If you decide to get it know that once you get up to 5.0 and above speedwise, the jogging/running action will jar it loose. I have ordered a cheap wall mount for my iPad for about $6.00 it's well with it and works waaay better. Just know that the treadmill is a great steal but the mount and the speakers are meh

#3 does it fold?

Yes, It does, but it’s pretty heavy to lift, so I leave mine open unless I need the extra floor space temporarily.

#4 Do I have to put the treadmill together?

Whoever said it is not difficult and does not involve heavy lifting IS LYING TO YOU. Do yourself a favor and pay for the installation unless you want to spend 4 hours with another person assembling this thing. The instructions also suck and the packaging for the parts is plain infuriating.

#5 "add assembly" - Is this IN-Home assembly?

Yes, it's in home assembly. You choose the delivery date and time. Then at time of order, you also schedule the in-home assembly. Very easy and non-complicated.
