USB Tethering
Share your device’s Internet connection with a computer
connected to your device with a USB cable.
Note: To enable USB tethering on your device, dial 611 or go
to att.com/mywireless to set up the service.
1. Connect your device with a computer using a
USB cable.
2. From a Home screen, touch Apps
Settings
Connections tab.
3. Touch More networks Tethering and Wi-Fi
hotspot.
4. Touch USB tethering and follow the prompts.
Important! Tethering consumes battery power and increases
your data usage. Roaming while using tethering
will incur extra data charges.
VPN
The VPN settings menu can be used to set up and manage
Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
Before using VPN, you must first set up a screen unlock PIN
or password. For more information, refer to “Lock Screen”
on page 97.
Important! Before you can use a
VPN you must establish and
configure one.
Add a Basic VPN
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps Settings
Connections tab.
2. Touch More networks VPN.
3. Touch Basic VPN.
