Greenworks GLPS80210 Questions and Answers

#1 Can you use the chainsaw without the pole if you need to cut something lower?

No, this can only be used when it full length as it's a pole saw. The poles are not removable for operation.

#2 Can I shorten the pole?

Unfortunately you cannot shortened the pole. There is a a cable that goes through the center of the pole that drives the saw.

#3 Will a 80v charger charge a 40v battery?

No, each voltage line has its own set of interchangeable tools, batteries and chargers but are not interchangeable across different voltage lines.

#4 The strap only attaches at one point. Doesn't support the heavy pole saw. Manual shows it attaching at two points for balance. Is the manual wrong?

This unit has one loop for a strap. This is not designed to support the unit by itself. It's acts as an aid and will require user's intervention to be functional.
