Do not pile up foods higher than the storage space.
・The door may not be closed securely, which leads to ineffi cient cooling. It may also damage food, the case and the Moisture Cover.
・Storing a tall food in the Lower Space may prevent the closing of the Upper Case.
Do not use the refrigerator with the Upper Case removed. Doing so may cause food to drop into the rear of the case, which may prevent the closing of the door.
Do not stuff foods or drinks into each space.
・Some PET bottle can
t be stored, depending on its type.
・The partition, the cases or the Moisture Cover may be damaged.
VEGETABLE COMPARTMENT
Vegetable Compartment
Stored foods
In the Upper space, Lower space, or Tall Storage Compartment, the state of preservation may vary due to the amount, variety, or
freshness of stored vegetables.
Since the Vegetable Compartment is highly humid, dew may be condensed on the surface of the case and the Moisture Unit and Cover.
The Tall Storage Compartment may have temperature slightly higher than that of other spaces.
Notice
Upper space
Unfi nished vegetables, small vegetables, fruits, etc.
Tall Storage Compartment
Tall vegetables, 2L PET bottle, etc.
Lower space
Leaf vegetables (spinach, Japanese Mustard Spinach etc.), large vegetables (cabbage, lettuce), etc.
Since the Vegetable Compartment is highly humid, dew may be condensed on the Upper and Lower Cases and the surface of
vegetables, depending on the volume or type of vegetables, but it is normal. Water pool, if any, is likely to damage food, so wipe it
off with a soft cloth.
If the moisture unit is blocked by a bag or container of foods, dew is formed easily. Move out the bag or container of foods from there
.
If you feel uneasy about dew condensation, wrap the foods.
When storing dried foods such as rice, laver and others in the Vegetable Compartment, put them in a sealed container (bag) and
then place them in the Vegetable Compartment. Dried foods may absorb the moisture.
When the Vegetable Compartment contains a small quantity of vegetables, high humidity cannot be maintained. Wrap a veg
etable
with plastic food wrap before storing it in the refrigerator.
