Slopes adjacent to a public road must be
isolated with boundary wire. Put a fence or a
protective wall along the outer edge of the
slope.
3.3.3.2 Passages
A passage is a section that has boundary wire on
each side and that connects 2 work areas. The
passage must be a minimum of 60 cm / 24 in.
wide.
Note: If a passage is less than 2 m / 6.5 ft. wide,
install a guide wire through the passage.
3.3.3.3 To make an island
Put the boundary wire to and around the
obstacle to make an island.
Put the 2 sections of boundary wire that run
to and from the obstacle together.
Put the 2 sections of boundary wire in the
same stake.

boundary wire across the other.
The sections of boundary wire
must be parallel.
CAUTION: Do not put the guide
wire across the boundary wire, for
example a boundary wire that
goes to an island.
3.3.3.4 To make a secondary area
Make a secondary area (B) if the work area has 2
areas that are not connected with a passage. The
work area with the charging station is the main
area (A).
Note: The product must be manually moved
between the main area and the secondary area.
