Using your Answering machine
11.9 Call screening
Use your handset or base speaker to hear a
caller leaving a message. You can then choose
to ignore the caller or pick up the call.
The default settings are:
• Handset call screening: Off
• Base call screening: On.
At the handset:

11.11 Memory full
The memory is full if there is less than 15
seconds of recording time left or if the
maximum total of 59 messages has
been reached.
When the memory becomes full:
• The display will show

.
• T flashes quickly on the handset display.
• The machine will automatically switch to
Answer Only mode.
If the memory becomes full while a caller is
leaving a message, they will hear a beep and the
call is ended.
