The Importance of Maintenance
Servicing Your Honda
Note to Parents:
As a parent, it’s up to you to make sure that
this motorcycle is properly maintained and
kept in safe operating condition. For
youngsters, learning how to take care of a
motorcycle and perform basic maintenance
can be an important part of their riding
experience. However, if you allow a youngster
to perform or assist in any maintenance task,
such as filling the tank with gasoline, you
should provide close supervision to make sure
that it is performed safely.
Remember, proper maintenance is the owner’s
responsibility. Be sure to inspect your
motorcycle before each ride and follow the
Maintenance Schedule in this section.
