Switches
Engine stop switch
Should normally remain in the (Run) position.
u In an emergency, switch to the (Off)
position (the starter motor will not operate)
to stop the engine.
Headlight dimmer/Passing light

• : High beam
• : Low beam
• PASS: Flashes the high beam

Turn signal switch
• The turn signal will automatically stop when you complete the turn.
• When used for a lane change, the turn signal is automatically stopped in 7 seconds or
after riding 131.2 yards (120 m).
u You can manually cancel the turn signal by pressing the switch on.
u In some cases, the timing at which the turn signal stops is changed.
u Always use the recommended tires to ensure correct automatic cancellation operation.
u Pressing the switch turns the turn signal off.

Hazard switch
Switchable when the ignition switch is on. Can
be turned to off regardless of the ignition switch
position.
u The signals continue flashing with the ignition
switch is OFF or LOCK after the hazard switch is on.
