mCAUTION! Before working on the patio cleaner, remove
the battery from the compartment.
Cleaning
mWARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, always turn
the unit o and remove the battery before cleaning or servicing.
1. Use a wet cloth to clean the outside of the unit. Do not
use strong detergents, household cleaners that contain
aromatic oils (e.g. pine and lemon) or harsh solvents such
as kerosene as these substances can damage the plastic
housing or the handles. Do not use a hose or pressure
washer to clean the appliance.
2. Remove the soiling, debris or sand/stone from the brush.
If necessary, remove the brushes and clean them under
running water. See instruction in Cleaning/Replacing the
Brushes on page 14 for how to disassemble the brushes.
Clean the Water Inlet Filter
To ensure good performance, check and clean the water inlet
lter on the end of the water inlet adapter.
1. Turn the water inlet adapter counterclockwise and remove
it from the water inlet (Fig. 19).
2. Insert a plier into the smaller end of the adapter to take out
the water inlet lter, as shown (Fig. 20).
3. Rinse all components with warm water, including the water
inlet lter, the water inlet adapter, and the garden hose
adapter to prevent any foreign matter from clogging the
appliance.
Cleaning/Replacing the Brushes
IMPORTANT: Only use original replacement parts specied for
this appliance. The use of parts that do not meet the original
equipment specications may lead to improper performance of
the patio cleaner, may compromise operator safety.
1. Turn o the appliance and remove the battery from the
battery compartment.
2. Turn the appliance sideway so the brush fastener is facing
up. Turn the brush fastener counterclockwise to unlock the
brush (Fig. 21).
3. Remove both the brush and the brush fastener (Fig. 22).
4. Repeat the above steps to remove the brush and the
brush fastener on the other side.
5. Clean the brushes and the brush fasteners under running
water. If the brushes are worn out, replace with a new set
of brushes.
NOTE: One brush set contains 2 rotating brushes, which
looks dierent. One of the rotating brushes is equipped
