Rechargeable Batteries

Rechargeable lead-acid batteries are the same type used in automobiles. As with your car

battery, how you use this battery has a significant impact on its lifespan. With proper use and

treatment, a lead-acid battery can last for years. Here are some recommendations for getting

the longest life from the internal battery.

General Usage

Fully charge the battery before using it.

Charge the battery completely after each use.

Storage

For best product longevity, do not store at exceedingly hot (greater than

90°F/32°C) or exceedingly cold (less than 32°F/0°C) temperatures.

It is acceptable to leave your sound system plugged in. This will not

overcharge the battery.

If you leave the battery level low and do not charge it for 6 months, it may

permanently lose capacity.

Repair

If the battery fails to charge, check your fuse near the power cable input. If your

fuse is intact and it still will not charge, contact ION Audio at ionaudio.com.

Disposal

Bring the unit to a recycling center or dispose of in accordance with local

ordinances.

Quick Setup

1. Make sure all items listed in the Box Contents are included in the box.

2. Read the Safety & Warranty Manual before using the product.

3. Make sure the battery is completely charged prior to first use for maximum battery life.

4. Study the Connection Diagram.

5. Ensure the Master Volume on Party Boom is at zero.

6. Connect your devices.

7. Raise the volume to a comfortable level.

8. Return the Master Volume to zero when you are finished using Party Boom.

Front Panel

1. Power Button: Turns Party Boom on or off. Please note that while Party Boom is connected to a power

source, it does not need to be powered on to charge the battery. When the power is on, the display will

show the power indicator.

2. Bluetooth Button: Press and release this button to start pairing.

Press the Bluetooth button to

disconnect a paired Bluetooth device.

3. Lights: Press this button to select how the lights function:

• Color Cycle: The lights slowly glow and cycle through colors. Press and hold the light mode

button to freeze the lights on one color.

• Beat Sync: The lights react to the beat of the music. If there is no music playing, the lights will cycle

through colors.

• Off: The lights turn off.

4. Bass Boost: Press this button to enhance the overall bass frequency response.

5. Radio Selector: This button sets the Radio to FM1, FM2, AM or turns the radio off.

6. AM/FM Presets: Store a favorite radio station and quickly tune to a preset radio station. There are 4

numeric positions to store AM band presets and 2 banks of 4 numeric positions each to store FM1 and

FM2 band presets.

To add a preset:

i. Select FM1, FM2, or the AM band and then use the Tune/Track buttons to select the desired radio

station.

ii. Press and hold a numeric preset button to assign the current station to that preset number. The

display will show “SAV” to show the station has been saved. To use an added preset, press a

preset number once lightly to go to the stored radio station.

7. Tune/Track Buttons: Tap these buttons to tune in a radio station or go to the previous/next track on a

Bluetooth connected device. To “seek” (jump to the next available station), hold either button down for

a few seconds until it starts to seek a station. The unit will remember the last station it was on and start

at that station when powered off and on again.

8. Play/Pause/Link: Press to play or pause a track from a connected Bluetooth device. Press and hold

this button to start stereo linking to another Party Boom speaker. Press and hold this button to

disconnect the link to another Party Boom speaker.

9. Display: Displays the current radio station, battery status, and Bluetooth status.

• Charging Indicator:

• When the power cable is connected, movement of the battery segments shows the battery is

charging. When fully charged, all battery segments will be lit without blinking.

• When the power cable is disconnected, the battery segment shows the level of the battery.

• When the battery level is low, the bottom battery segment will blink.

• If a front panel button is not pressed within 60 seconds, the battery level indicator will turn off

(to save energy). The battery level indicator will reappear when any button is pressed. Also,

when the battery gets to the lowest battery icon segment, the battery level indicator will turn

back on.

• Lightning Bolt Icon: The lightning bolt icon will illuminate when the power cable is connected to

wall power.

• Bluetooth Icon: The Bluetooth icon will be lit solid when a device is paired to Party Boom.

• Power Icon: The power icon will be lit when Party Boom is powered on. The power icon will not

be lit when Party Boom is powered off.

• Bass Boost Icon: The Bass Boost icon will be on when the Bass Boost function is activated. The

icon will be off when the function is deactivated.

• Link Icon: The Link icon will be on when stereo linked to another speaker. The Link icon will be

off when a single speaker is used.

10. Master Volume Control: This adjusts the speaker’s main mix volume, which includes the Microphone

Input, Auxiliary Input, Radio, and the audio of a paired Bluetooth device.

11. Microphone Input with Volume Control (1/4”): This mono input accepts a 1/4” (6.35 mm) input such

as a microphone, guitar, or other musical instrument.

12. Auxiliary Input: This stereo 1/8” (3.5 mm) input can be used to connect a CD player, MP3 player, or

other audio source.

13. USB Charging Port: Connect your device’s charge cable here to charge it. USB charging only

functions when the unit’s power is turned on.

Top Panel

1. NFC: Tap your NFC (near-field communication) supported and enabled device

here to pair your phone by gently bumping on the ‘N’ logo.

Rear Panel

1. Power Cable Input: Insert the included power cable here to charge the

unit. Note that the Party Boom can be used with the power cable while

it simultaneously charges the battery.

2. Fuse Cover: If the unit’s fuse is broken, use a screwdriver or other tool

to lift this tab to replace the fuse. Replace it with a fuse of the same

rating. Using a fuse with an incorrect rating can damage the unit and/or

fuse.

Operation

Using the Radio

Selecting a radio station:

1. Press the Radio button to select FM1, FM2, or AM.

2. Press either of the Tune/Track buttons to select a radio station. To “seek” (jump to the next available

station), hold either button down for a few seconds until it starts to seek a station.

Saving a radio station as a preset:

1. Press the Radio button to select FM1, FM2, or AM.

2. Press either of the Tune/Track buttons to select a radio station.

3. Press and hold a numeric preset button to assign the current station to that preset number. The

display will show “SAV” to show the station has been saved.

Recalling a saved radio station preset:

1. Press the Radio button to select FM1, FM2, or AM.

2. To use an added preset, press a preset number once lightly to go to the stored radio station.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device

1. Turn on your Bluetooth device.

2. Power on Party Boom. Press and release the Bluetooth button to start pairing. The Bluetooth

icon on the display will start to blink when attempting to pair. If you have previously connected to

another Bluetooth device, Party Boom will reconnect. To disconnect pairing if the Bluetooth icon

is lit solid, press and release the Bluetooth button.

3. Navigate to your Bluetooth device’s setup screen, find “Party Boom” and connect. The

Bluetooth icon on the display will be lit solid when paired.

Note: If your Bluetooth device prompts for a pairing code, enter “0000”.

4. To disconnect pairing while the Bluetooth icon is lit solid, press and release the Bluetooth

button.

5. To connect to another Bluetooth device, repeat step 3.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device Using NFC

NFC (near-field communication) allows data exchange from devices, such as pairing, by gently

bumping them together. Check in your device’s manual to see if this feature is supported.

To use NFC to pair with Party Boom:

1. In order to use NFC, your device must be turned on and unlocked.

2. Enter your device’s Settings menu and check that NFC is turned On (one-time step).

3. Power on Party Boom.

4. Press and release the Bluetooth button on Party Boom and the Bluetooth icon will flash (only

needed for the first time when NFC pairing with the device).

5. Touch and briefly hold your device to the NFC logo.

6. Follow the pairing instructions that appear on your phone. If a passcode is required, enter

“0000”.

To unpair, gently bump your device against the NFC logo located on Party Boom’s top panel.

Stereo Linking Two Party Boom Speakers*

To link two Party Boom’s together for stereo sound:

1. Press and hold the Play/Pause/Link button on both speakers to enter Stereo Link mode. A tone

will be heard and the word LINK will blink when in the process of linking to the second speaker.

Once a link has been established, the word LINK will be lit solid.

Note: The linking process can take up to a minute to complete. The closer the two speakers are

to each other, the quicker the linking process occurs.

2. Press and release the Bluetooth button on either speaker to start the pairing process. The

Bluetooth icon will flash on the randomly assigned master speaker when in pairing mode. The

speaker assigned as master (with the Bluetooth icon illuminated) will play the Left channel audio.

3. Navigate to your Bluetooth device’s setup screen, find “Party Boom” and connect. See

Operation > Pairing a Bluetooth Device for Bluetooth setup details.

4. To disconnect/cancel linking between the two speakers, press and hold the Play/Pause/Link

button.

*This speaker may be able to link to different speakers in the ION Audio product line. For more

information, please visit ionaudio.com.

Troubleshooting

If the sound is distorted: Try lowering the volume control of your sound source, musical instrument,

or microphone. Also, try to reduce the overall volume of Party Boom using the Master Volume knob.

If there is too much bass: Try adjusting the tone or EQ control on your sound source to lower the

bass level. This will allow you to play the music louder before clipping (distortion) occurs.

If there is a high-pitched whistling noise when using microphones: This is probably feedback.

Point the microphone away from the speaker.

If there is poor AM reception: To adjust AM reception, move entire unit.

If you can’t hear the microphone over the music volume: Turn down the music volume from your

source.

If you can’t play music from a flash drive: The USB port is only for charging USB devices.

lmacenamiento

Reparación

9. Pantalla: Muestra la emisora de radio actual, el estado de la batería, el estado del Bluetooth y el

estado del enlace.

• Indicador de carga:

• Con el indicador de carga de la batería, cuando el cable de alimentación está conectado,

el movimiento de los segmentos de la batería muestra que se está cargando. Una vez

• Icono del relámpago: El icono del relámpago se encenderá cuando el cable de corriente

esté conectado a una toma de corriente de pared.

• Icono de Bluetooth: El icono de Bluetooth se enciende con luz azul continua cuando hay

un dispositivo apareado al Party Boom.

• Icono de encendido: El icono de encendido se encenderá cuando el Party Boom se

encienda. Este icono de encendido no se encenderá cuando Party Boom está apagado.

• Icono de Bass Boost: El icono de Bass Boost se iluminara cuando la función esté

activada. El icono estará apagado cuando la función esté desactivada.

Funcionamiento

Cómo usar la radio

Cómo aparear un dispositivo Bluetooth

1. Encienda su dispositivo Bluetooth.

2. Encienda el Party Boom. Pulse y suelte el botón Bluetooth para comenzar el apareamiento. El icono

Bluetooth en la pantalla comenzará a parpadear al intentar aparearse. Si ya lo había conectado a otro

dispositivo Bluetooth previamente, el Party Boom se reconectará. Para desconectar el apareamiento si

el icono de Bluetooth está encendido permanentemente, mantenga pulsado el botón de Bluetooth.

3. Navegue a la pantalla de configuración de su dispositivo Bluetooth, busque “Party Boom” y conéctelo

Cómo aparear un dispositivo Bluetooth usando NFC

La tecnología NFC (comunicación de campo cercano) permite el intercambio de datos entre dispositivos, tal

como el apareamiento, juntándolos suavemente. Compruebe en el manual de su dispositivo si se soporta

esta característica.

Para usar NFC a fin de aparear con Party Boom:

1. A fin de usar NFC, su dispositivo debe estar encendido y desbloqueado.

2. Abra el menú Settings (Configuración) de su dispositivo y verifique que NFC esté On (Activado) (este

paso solo se realiza una vez).

3. Encienda el Party Boom.

4. Pulse y suelte el botón de Bluetooth del Party Boom y el icono de Bluetooth parpadeará (esto solo es

necesario la primera vez que aparee el dispositivo mediante NFC).

5. Toque y acerque brevemente su dispositivo del logo de NFC.

6. Siga las instrucciones de apareamiento que aparecen en su teléfono. Si se requiere una contraseña,

ingrese 0000.

7. Para desaparear, toque suavemente con su dispositivo el logo de NFC ubicado en el panel superior del

Party Boom.

Cómo realizar el enlace estéreo entre dos altavoces Party Boom*

Cómo enlazar dos Party Boom entre sí para lograr un sonido estéreo:

1. Mantenga pulsado el botón Play/Pause/Link (reproducción/pausa/enlace) en ambos altavoces para

ingresar al modo de enlace estéreo. Se escuchará un tono y la palabra LINK parpadeará cuando esté

en proceso de apareamiento con el segundo altavoz. Una vez establecido el enlace, la palabra LINK

quedará encendida permanentemente.

Nota: El proceso de enlace puede demorar hasta un minuto en completarse. Mientras más cerca se

encuentren ambos altavoces entre sí, más rápido ocurrirá el proceso de enlace.

2. Pulse y suelte el botón Bluetooth en cualquiera de los altavoces para comenzar el apareamiento. El

icono de Bluetooth del altavoz maestro (asignado al azar) parpadeará mientras está en el modo

apareamiento. El altavoz maestro (con el icono de Bluetooth iluminado) reproducirá el canal de audio

izquierdo.

3. Navegue a la pantalla de configuración de su dispositivo Bluetooth, busque “Party Boom” y establezca

la conexión. Consulte en Funcionamiento > Apareamiento de un dispositivo Bluetooth los detalles

de la configuración Bluetooth.

4. Para desconectar/cancelar el enlace entre dos altavoces, mantenga pulsado el botón Play/Pause/Link.

Solución de problemas

Si el sonido está distorsionado: Pruebe bajando el control de volumen de su fuente de sonido,

instrumento musical o micrófono. Pruebe también reduciendo el volumen general del Party Boom utilizando

la perilla de volumen maestro.

Si hay demasiados graves: Intente ajustando el control de tono o ecualización de su fuente de sonido para

reducir el nivel de graves. De esta forma podrá reproducir la música con más volumen antes de que se

produzca el recorte (distorsión).

Si hay un silbido agudo cuando se usan micrófonos: Probablemente sea realimentación. Apunte el

micrófono apartándolos del altavoz.

Si hay recepción pobre de AM: Para ajustar la recepción de AM, mueva la unidad completa.

Si no puede oír el micrófono por arriba del volumen de la música: Disminuya el volumen de la música

en su fuente.

Si no logra reproducir música desde una unidad flash: El puerto USB sea solo para cargar dispositivos

USB.

Piles rechargeables

Les piles au plomb rechargeables sont du même type que les batteries utilisées dans les

automobiles. Comme pour la batterie de votre automobile, la manière dont vous l’utilisez a un

impact direct sur sa durée de vie. Cependant, avec une bonne utilisation la pile au plomb peut

avoir une durée de vie de plusieurs années. Voici quelques recommandations pour prolonger

au maximum la durée de vie de la pile interne.

Utilisation

générale

Chargez complètement la batterie avant de l’utiliser.

Rechargez la batterie complètement après chaque utilisation.

Entreposage

Pour optimiser la longévité du produit, ne pas entreposer dans des températures

extrêmement chaudes (supérieur à 32°C/90°F) ou extrêmement froides (moins de

0°C/32°F).

Il est acceptable de laisser votre système audio branché. Cela ne surchargera

pas la batterie.

Si vous laissez le niveau de batterie s’affaiblir sans la recharger pendant 6

mois, elle risquerait de perdre sa capacité de charge de façon permanente.

Réparation

Si la batterie ne parvient plus à se recharger, vérifier le fusible situé près de

l’entrée du câble d’alimentation. Si le fusible est intact et que la batterie ne se

Élimination

Apportez l’appareil dans un centre de recyclage ou disposez selon les

Démarrage rapide

1. Veuillez vous assurer que tous les articles énumérés dans le Contenu de la boîte de ce

1. Touche d'alimentation : Permet de mettre le Party Boom sous et hors tension Veuillez noter

que lorsque le Party Boom est branché à une source d’alimentation, il peut recharger la pile sans

être sous tension. Lorsque l'appareil est sous tension, l'écran affiche l'indicateur d'alimentation.

2. Touche Bluetooth : Enfoncer puis relâcher cette touche permet de lancer le jumelage. Appuyez

sur le bouton Bluetooth du pour déconnecter le périphérique Bluetooth branché.

3. Touche de mode d'éclairage : Appuyez sur ce bouton pour sélectionner la façon dont les

lumières fonctionnent:

• Color Cycle : Les lumières brillent et défilent à travers toutes les couleurs. Maintenez la

touche du mode d'éclairage enfoncée afin que les lumières s'allument d'une seule couleur.

• Beat Sync : Les lumières se synchronisent au rythme de la musique.

• Off : Les lumières sont éteintes.

4. Bass Boost : Cette touche permet d'augmenter la réponse en basse fréquence.

5. Sélecteur de bande radio : Ce sélecteur permet de syntoniser la bande FM1, FM2, AM, ou et

permet d’éteindre la radio.

6. Préréglages AM/FM : Ces touches vous permettent de mémoriser une station de radio préférée

et de syntoniser rapidement sur une station de radio programmée. Il y a 4 positions numériques

pour les stations AM et 2 banques de 4 positions numériques pour les stations FM1 et les

stations FM2.

Pour mémoriser une station :

i. Sélectionnez la bande FM1, FM2, ou AM, puis utilisez les touches Radio afin de syntoniser

la fréquence de la station désirée.

ii. Enfoncez et maintenez une des touches de préréglage afin d’assigner la station à ce

numéro de préréglage. L'écran affiche « SAV » afin d’indiquer que la station a été

mémorisée. Pour utiliser un préréglage, tapez un numéro de préréglage une fois légèrement

pour syntoniser la station mémorisée.

7. Touches de syntonisation/pistes : Ces touches permettent de syntoniser une station de radio

ou de passer à la piste précédente/suivante sur un périphérique Bluetooth connecté. Pour

balayer la bande (passer à la prochaine station), maintenez une de ces touches enfoncée

quelques secondes, jusqu’à ce qu'il commence à rechercher la prochaine station disponible.

L’appareil mémorise la dernière station syntonisée et s’ouvre sur cette station lorsqu’il est remis

sous tension.

8. Lancer/interrompre la lecture/Lien : Appuyez sur cette touche pour lancer la lecture ou

interrompre une piste sur un périphérique Bluetooth connecté. Maintenir cette touche enfoncée

permet de lancer le raccordement en série stéréo d’une autre enceinte Party Boom. Maintenir

cette touche enfoncée permet de supprimer le raccordement en série stéréo d’une autre

enceinte Party Boom.

9. Écran : Affiche la station radio en cours, l'état de charge de la batterie et l’état Bluetooth.

• Indicateur de charge :

• Lorsque le câble d'alimentation est connecté, le mouvement des segments de batterie de

l'indicateur de charge indique que la batterie est en charge. Lorsque complètement chargée,

tous les segments de la batterie s'allument sans clignoter.

• Lorsque le câble d'alimentation est débranché, le segment de l'indicateur de charge indique le

niveau de charge.

• Lorsque la batterie est faible, le dernier segment de l'indicateur de niveau de charge de la

batterie clignote.

• Lorsqu'aucune des touches du panneau avant n'est enfoncée pendant plus de 60 secondes,

l'indicateur de niveau de charge de la batterie s'éteint (pour économiser de l'énergie).

L'indicateur de niveau de charge de la batterie se rallume lorsqu'une des touches du panneau

avant est enfoncée. En outre, lorsque l'indicateur de niveau de charge de la batterie est au plus

faible l'indicateur se rallume.

• Icône éclair : L’icône éclair s'allume lorsque le câble d’alimentation est branché à une

prise secteur.

• Icône Bluetooth L’icône Bluetooth s’allume lorsqu'un périphérique est jumelé à l’enceinte

Party Boom.

• Icône d'alimentation : L’icône d'alimentation s’allume lorsque l’enceinte Party Boom est

sous tension. Cette icône d'alimentation ne sera pas allumé lorsque Party Boom est éteint.

• Icône de Bass Boost : L’icône de Bass Boost s’allume lorsque la fonction est activée.

Cette icône sera éteinte lorsque la fonction est désactivée.

• Icône Link : L'icône Link demeure allumée lorsqu’une autre enceinte est raccordée en

série. L'icône Link est éteinte lorsqu’une seule enceinte est utilisée.

10. Volume général : Ce bouton permet de régler le volume du mix général qui comprend l'entrée

microphone, l’entrée auxiliaire, le syntoniseur et l'audio d'un périphérique Bluetooth jumelé.

11. Microphone avec commande de volume (6,35 mm) : Cette entrée mono peut accueillir un

câble de 6,35 mm (1/4 po) pour microphone, guitare ou un autre instrument de musique.

12. Entrée auxiliaire : Cette entrée stéréo 3,5mm (1/8 po) po permettent de brancher un

smartphone, un lecteur MP3 ou autres sources audio.

13. Port de rechargement USB : Branchez le câble de rechargement de votre périphérique à cette

prise pour le recharger. Le rechargement de la pile par la connexion USB fonctionne uniquement

lorsque l’appareil est allumé.

1. NFC : Effleurez l’appareil doté de la fonctionnalité CCP (communication en

champ proche) sur le logo « N » afin de le jumeler.

Panneau arrière

1. Entrée du câble d'alimentation : Brancher le câble d'alimentation

ci-inclus ici pour d'alimentation l'appareil. Sachez qu'il est possible

d'utiliser le Party Boom tout en le rechargeant à l'aide de l'adaptateur

d'alimentation.

2. Compartiment du fusible : Si le fusible de l’appareil est

endommagé, utiliser un tournevis ou autre outil pour soulever le

couvercle afin de remplacer le fusible par un nouveau de même

calibre. L’utilisation d’un fusible de calibre inapproprié pourrait

endommager l’appareil et/ou le fusible.

Fonctionnement

Utilisation de la radio

Sélectionner une station radio :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Radio afin de sélectionner la radio FM1, FM2, ou AM.

2. Appuyez sur une des touches Tune/Track afin de sélectionner une station radio. Pour balayer la

bande (passer à la prochaine station), maintenez une de ces touches enfoncée quelques

secondes, jusqu’à ce que l’appareil commence à rechercher la prochaine station disponible.

Pour mémoriser une station radio en tant que préréglage :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Radio afin de sélectionner la radio FM1, FM2, ou AM.

2. Appuyez sur une des touches Tune/Track afin de sélectionner une station radio.

3. Maintenir une des touches de préréglage enfoncée permet d’assigner la station sélectionnée à

ce numéro de préréglage. L'écran affiche « SAV » afin d’indiquer que la station a été mémorisée.

Pour rappeler un préréglage d’une station radio :

1. Appuyez sur la touche Radio afin de sélectionner la radio FM1, FM2, ou AM.

2. Pour utiliser un préréglage, appuyez une fois légèrement sur la touche de préréglage afin de

syntoniser la station de radio mémorisée.

Jumelage d'un périphérique Bluetooth

1. Veuillez mettre votre périphérique Bluetooth sous tension.

2. Mettez l’enceinte Party Boom sous tension. Enfoncer puis relâcher la touche Bluetooth permet

de lancer le jumelage. L'icône Bluetooth clignote durant le processus de jumelage. Si vous avez

précédemment jumelé un autre périphérique Bluetooth, l'enceinte Party Boom se reconnectera à

cet appareil. Pour supprimer la connexion lorsque l'icône Bluetooth est allumée, enfoncez puis

relâchez la touche Bluetooth.

3. Accédez à l'écran de configuration de votre périphérique Bluetooth, recherchez « Party Boom »

et lancez le jumelage. L’icône Bluetooth reste allumée lorsque le jumelage est réussi.

Remarque : Si votre périphérique Bluetooth vous demande d’entrer un code de jumelage, entrez

0000.

4. Pour supprimer la connexion lorsque l'icône Bluetooth est allumée, enfoncez puis relâchez la

touche Bluetooth.

5. Pour jumeler un autre périphérique Bluetooth, répétez les étape 3.

Jumelage Bluetooth à l’aide d'un module CCP

La communication en champ proche (CCP) permet l'échange de données entre appareils, tel que le

jumelage, en effleurant l’un des appareils contre l’autre. Vérifiez le guide d’utilisation de votre

appareil afin de déterminer si cette fonctionnalité est prise en charge.

Jumelage au Party Boom à l’aide de la technologie CCP :

1. Afin d'utiliser la fonctionnalité CCP, le périphérique doit être activé et son écran déverrouillé.

2. Entrez dans le menu Réglages de votre périphérique et vérifiez que la fonction CCP est activée

(à faire uniquement lors du premier jumelage).

3. Mettez l’enceinte Party Boom sous tension.

4. Appuyez et relâchez le bouton Bluetooth sur Party Boom et l'icône Bluetooth clignotera

(uniquement nécessaire pour la première fois lorsque l'appariement CCP avec l'appareil).

5. Touchez brièvement le logo CCP avec votre périphérique.

6. Suivez les instructions de jumelage qui s'affichent sur votre périphérique. Si votre appareil vous

demande d’entrer un mot de passe, entrez 0000.

7. Pour supprimer la connexion, effleurez le périphérique contre le logo CCP situé sur le panneau

supérieur de l’enceinte Party Boom.

Raccordement en série de deux enceintes Party Boom*

Raccorder deux enceintes Party Boom pour un son stéréo :

1. Maintenez la touche Lecture/Pause/Link enfoncée pour accéder au mode de raccordement en

série. Un signal sonore retentit et le mot LINK clignote durant le processus de raccordement en

série. Lorsque le lien est établi, le mot LINK reste allumé.

Remarque : Le processus de raccordement en série peut prendre jusqu’à une minute. Plus les

enceintes sont proches l’une de l’autre, plus le raccordement en série se fait rapidement.

2. Enfoncer puis relâcher la touche Bluetooth de l’une des deux enceintes permet de lancer le

jumelage. L'icône Bluetooth sur le haut-parleur maître (assigné au hasard) clignotera en mode

jumelage. Le haut-parleur maître (avec l'icône Bluetooth éclairée) jouera le canal audio gauche.

3. Accédez à l'écran de configuration de votre appareil Bluetooth, recherchez « Party Boom » et

appuyez sur Connecter. Voir la section Fonctionnement > Jumelage d'un périphérique

Bluetooth pour plus de détails.

4. Pour supprimer le raccordement en série, appuyez deux fois sur la touche Lecture/Pause/Link.

* Cette enceinte pourrait éventuellement se raccorder à certaines autres enceintes de la gamme ION

Guide de dépannage

Lorsqu’il y a de la distorsion : Essayez de diminuer le volume du périphérique audio, de

l’instrument de musique ou du microphone. Essayez également de réduire le volume général de

l’enceinte Party Boom.

Lorsqu’il y a trop de basses fréquences : Essayez de régler le niveau de tonalité et d’égalisation

sur l’appareil de source d’entrée audio afin de diminuer le niveau des basses fréquences. Cela vous

permettra d'augmenter le volume de la musique avant que l'écrêtage se produise.

Lorsqu’il y a un sifflement aigu lors de l’utilisation des microphones : Ceci est probablement

causé par l’effet Larsen (feedback). Dirigez le microphone loin des haut-parleurs.

Lorsqu’il y a une mauvaise réception AM : Pour ajuster la réception AM, déplacer tout l'appareil.

Si vous ne pouvez entendre le microphone au-dessus de la musique : diminuez le volume de la

musique de la source audio.

Si vous ne parvenez pas à lire le matériel sur la clé USB : Les port USB est uniquement à

recharger les périphériques USB.

Come riporre

l’apparecchio

1. Tasto di alimentazione: accende o spegne il Party Boom. Va notato che quando il Party Boom

la batteria. Quando l'alimentazione è accesa, a display compare l'indicatore di alimentazione.

2. Tasto Bluetooth: Premere e rilasciare questo tasto per avviare il collegamento. Premere il

pulsante tasto Bluetooth per scollegare di un dispositivo Bluetooth accoppiato.

3. Tasto di modalità luci: premere questo pulsante per selezionare il funzionamento delle luci:

• Ciclo cromatico: le luci si accendono lentamente e passano ciclicamente da un colore

all’altro. Tenere premuto il tasto di modalità luminosa per congelare le luci su un colore

specifico.

• Beat Sync: le luci reagiscono al battito della musica.

• Off: le luci si spengono.

4. Bass Boost: premere questo tasto per migliorare la risposta di frequenza complessiva dei bassi.

5. Selettore radio: questo interruttore imposta il sintonizzatore su FM1, FM2, AM, o spegne la

6. Preset AM/FM: consentono di memorizzare una stazione radio preferita e di sintonizzarsi

Per aggiungere un preset:

7. Tasti Tune/Track (sintonia/traccia): toccare questi tasti per sintonizzare una stazione radio o

per passare alla traccia precedente/successiva su un dispositivo Bluetooth collegato. Per

effettuare la "scansione" (passare alla stazione disponibile successiva), tenere premuto uno di

questi tasti per alcuni secondi fino a quando non inizia a cercare una stazione. L'apparecchio

ricorderà l'ultima stazione selezionata e ripartirà da tale stazione in caso di spegnimento e

riaccensione.

8. Play/Pause/Collegamento: premere questo tasto per riprodurre o mettere in pausa una traccia

da un dispositivo Bluetooth collegato. Tenere premuto questo tasto per avviare il collegamento

stereo a un altro altoparlante Party Boom. Tenere premuto questo tasto per scollegare il

collegamento a un altro altoparlante Party Boom.

9. Display: mostra la stazione radio corrente, lo stato della batteria, e lo stato del Bluetooth.

• Indicatori di carica:

• Quando il cavo di alimentazione è collegato, il movimento dei segmenti della batteria al

livello dell'indicatore di carica indica che la batteria è in carica.

• Una volta completata la ricarica, tutti i segmenti della batteria saranno accesi senza

lampeggiare.

• Quando la batteria è scarica, il segmento inferiore dell’indicatore lampeggia.

• Quando il cavo di alimentazione è scollegato, i segmenti della batteria mostrano il livello

una presa a parete.

• Icona Bluetooth: Quando un dispositivo è collegato al Party Boom, l'icona Bluetooth è

illuminata in maniera fissa.

• Icona di alimentazione: Quando il Party Boom è acceso, l’icona di alimentazione sarà

illuminato. Questa icona di alimentazione non si illumina quando Party Boom è spento.

• Icona Bass Boost: L'icona Bass Boost verrà letta quando la funzione Bass Boost è

attivata. L'icona si spegne quando la funzione è disattivata.

• Icona Link: l’icona di collegamento “Link” sarà accesa quando il dispositivo è collegato in

funzionare con il cavo di alimentazione anche durante la ricarica della

batteria.

2. Coperchio dei fusibili: se il fusibile dell'apparecchio è rotto, sollevare

questa linguetta servendosi di un cacciavite o di un altro strumento per

sostituirlo. Sostituirlo con un fusibile dalla stessa tensione

nominale. L'utilizzo di un fusibile dalla tensione nominale errata può

danneggiare l'apparecchio e/o il fusibile.

Utilizzo della radio

Scelta di una stazione radio:

1. Premere il tasto Radio per selezionare FM1, FM2, AM.

2. Premere uno dei tasti Tune/Track per selezionare una stazione radio. Per effettuare la

"scansione" (passare alla stazione disponibile successiva), tenere premuto uno di questi tasti per

alcuni secondi fino a quando non inizia a cercare una stazione.

Salvataggio di una stazione radio come preset:

1. Premere il tasto Radio per selezionare FM1, FM2, AM.

2. Premere uno dei tasti Tune/Track per selezionare una stazione radio.

3. Tenere premuto un tasto numerico preset per assegnare la stazione corrente a tale numero di

Accoppiamento di un dispositivo Bluetooth

1. Accendere il dispositivo Bluetooth.

2. Accendere il Party Boom. Premere e rilasciare il tasto Bluetooth per avviare il

collegamento. L’icona Bluetooth a display inizia a lampeggiare quando si tenta di

effettuare il collegamento. Se in precedenza è stato collegato a un altro dispositivo

Bluetooth, il Party Boom vi si ricollegherà. Per annullare il collegamento, se l'icona

Bluetooth è accesa in maniera fissa, premere e rilasciare il tasto Bluetooth.

3. Navigare nella schermata di configurazione del dispositivo Bluetooth, trovare “Party

Boom” e collegarlo. Una volta effettuato il collegamento, l'icona Bluetooth sarà illuminata

in maniera fissa.

Nota bene: se il dispositivo Bluetooth richiede un codice, digitare 0000.

4. Per annullare il collegamento, quando l'icona Bluetooth è accesa in maniera fissa, premere

e rilasciare il tasto Bluetooth.

5. Per collegarlo ad un altro dispositivo Bluetooth, ripetere il passo 3.

Accoppiamento di un dispositivo Bluetooth servendosi dell'NFC

L'NFC (comunicazione in prossimità) consente lo scambio di dati tra dispositivi, come

nell'accoppiamento, mettendoli delicatamente insieme. Verificare nel manuale del proprio

dispositivo se questa funzione è supportata.

Per utilizzare l'NFC per l'accoppiamento con il Party Boom:

1. Per utilizzare l'NFC, il dispositivo deve essere acceso e sbloccato.

2. Entrare nel menu Settings del dispositivo e verificare che NFC sia acceso (On) (questo

passaggio andrà effettuato una sola volta).

3. Accendere il Party Boom.

4. Premere e rilasciare il pulsante Bluetooth sul dispositivo Party Boom e l'icona Bluetooth

lampeggerà (solo quando l'accoppiamento NFC con il dispositivo).

5. Toccare e mantenere brevemente il dispositivo contro il logo NFC.

6. Seguire le istruzioni di accoppiamento che compaiono sul telefono. Se viene richiesta una

password, digitare 0000.

7. Spingere delicatamente il dispositivo contro il logo NFC situato sul pannello superiore del

Party Boom.

Collegamento stereo di due altoparlanti Party Boom*

Per collegare due Party Boom e ottenere un suono stereo:

1. Tenere premuto il tasto Play/Pause/Link su entrambi gli altoparlanti per entrare in

modalità Stereo Link. Si sentirà un suono e la scritta LINK lampeggerà durante il

collegamento al secondo altoparlante. Una volta stabilito un collegamento, la scritta LINK

sarà illuminata in maniera fissa.

Nota bene: il processo di collegamento può richiedere fino a un massimo di un minuto.

Più i due altoparlanti sono vicini, più il processo di collegamento avverrà rapidamente.

2. Premere e rilasciare il tasto Bluetooth su uno dei due altoparlanti per avviare il

collegamento. L'icona Bluetooth sull’altoparlante principale (assegnato in modo casuale)

lampeggerà mentre si è in modalità di accoppiamento. L’altoparlante principale (con

l’icona Bluetooth illuminata)) riprodurrà il canale audio sinistro.

3. Navigare fino alla schermata di configurazione del dispositivo Bluetooth, trovare “Party

Boom” e collegarlo. Si veda Operazione > Collegamento di un dispositivo Bluetooth

per maggiori dettagli sulla configurazione del Bluetooth.

4. Per scollegare/annullare il collegamento tra i due altoparlanti, tenere premuto il tasto

Play/Pause/Link.

Risoluzione di problemi

Il suono è distorto: provare ad abbassare il volume della propria fonte audio, dello strumento

musicale o del microfono. Inoltre, provare a ridurre il volume complessivo del Party Boom

utilizzando la manopola Volume Master.

Eccessivi bassi: provare a regolare la tonalità o il comando EQ a livello della fonte audio per

abbasare il livello dei bassi. Ciò permetterà di suonare la musica più forte prima che salti (che

si verifichi distorsione).

Quando si utilizzano i microfoni si verifica un fischio ad alto pitch: si tratta probabilmente

di ritorno. Puntare i microfoni lontani dalle casse.

Se non si sente il microfono al di sopra del volume della musica: abbassare il volume della

musica a livello della fonte.

Schnelles Einrichten

1. Power-Taste: Schaltet den Party Boom an oder aus. Beachten Sie bitte, dass beim Anschluss

des Party Boom an ein Stromnetz das Gerät nicht eingeschaltet werden muss, um die Batterie

aufzuladen. Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, zeigt das Display das Netzanzeige an.

2. Bluetooth-Taste: Drücken Sie diese Taste und lassen Sie sie los, um die Verbindung

herzustellen. Drücken Sie die Taste Bluetooth, um ein angeschlossenes Bluetooth-Gerät zu

trennen.

3. Licht-Modus-Taste: Mit diesem Taste können Sie auswählen, wie sich die Lichter verhalten:

• Farbwahl: Die Lichter glühen langsam und wechseln die Farben. Halten Sie die

Lichtmodustaste gedrückt, um die Lichter auf eine einzige Farbe einzustellen.

• Beat Sync: Das Licht regiert auf den Takt der Musik.

• Off: Die Lichter erlöschen.

4. Bass Boost: Drücken Sie diese Taste, um den Bass-Frequenzgang insgesamt zu verstärken.

5. Radiowahlschalter: Diese Taste stellt den Radio auf FM1, FM2, AM, oder schaltet das Radio

aus.

6. AM/FM-Presets: Speichern Sie Ihren Lieblings-Radiosender und schalten Sie schnell auf einen

voreingestellten Preset- Radiosender. Es gibt 4 numerische Positionen zum Speichern von AM-

Band-Presets und 2 Bänke mit jeweils 4 numerischen Positionen zum Speichern von FM1- und

FM2-Band-Presets.

So fügen Sie ein Preset hinzu:

i. Wählen Sie entweder das FM1-, FM2-, oder AM-Band und betätigen dann die Radio-

Tasten, um den gewünschten Radiosender auszuwählen.

ii. Halten Sie eine numerische Preset-Taste gedrückt, um den aktuellen Sender dieser Preset-

Nummer zuzuweisen. Auf dem Display erscheint "GESPEICHERT", um anzuzeigen, dass

der Sender gespeichert wurde. Um ein hinzugefügtes Preset zu verwenden, tippen Sie

einmal vorsichtig auf die Preset-Nummer, um zum gespeicherten Radiosender zu gehen.

7. Tune/Track-Tasten: Tippen Sie auf diese Tasten, um einen Radiosender einzustellen oder zum

vorherigen/nächsten Track auf einem via Bluetooth angeschlossenen Gerät zu springen. Um zu

"suchen" (also zum nächsten verfügbaren Sender zu springen), halten Sie eine dieser Tasten

einige Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die Suche nach einem Sender beginnt. Das Gerät wird sich

an den zuletzt gespielten Sender erinnern und die Wiedergabe dieses Senders aufnehmen, wenn

Sie das Gerät aus- und wieder einschalten.

8. Wiedergabe/Pause/Verknüpfung: Drücken Sie diese Taste, um einen Track eines

angeschlossenen Bluetooth-Geräts zu spielen oder zu pausieren. Halten Sie diese Taste

gedrückt, um die Stereoverbindung zu einem anderen Party Boom-Lautsprecher zu starten.

Halten Sie diese Taste gedrückt, um die Verbindung zu einem anderen Party Boom-Lautsprecher

zu trennen.

9. Display: Zeigt den aktuellen Radiosender, Akkuladestatus und Bluetooth-Status.

• Ladeanzeigen:

• Wenn das Netzkabel eingesteckt ist, zeigt die Batterieladeanzeige eine Bewegung auf

den Batteriesegmenten an, um anzuzeigen, dass die Batterie geladen wird.

• Wenn das Gerät voll aufgeladen ist, werden alle Akkusegmente durchgehend leuchten

(ohne zu blinken).

• Wenn der Batteriestand niedrig ist, blinkt das untere Batteriesegment.

• Wenn das Netzkabel abgezogen wird, zeigt das Akkusegment den Akkuladestand. Wenn

nicht innerhalb von 60 Sekunden eine Taste auf der Frontplatte gedrückt wird, schaltet

sich die Batteriestandsanzeige aus (um Energie zu sparen). Sobald eine Taste betätigt

wird, erscheint die Batteriestandsanzeige wieder. Die Batteriestandsanzeige schaltet

sich auch dann wieder ein, wenn die Batterie das niedrigste Segment des

Batteriesymbols erreicht.

• Blitzsymbol: Das Blitzsymbol leuchtet auf, wenn das Netzkabel an eine Steckdose

angesteckt ist.

• Bluetooth-Symbol: Das Bluetooth-Symbol leuchtet, wenn ein Gerät mit dem Party Boom

gekoppelt ist.

• Netz-Symbol: Das Symbol wird gelesen, wenn der Tailgater eingeschaltet wird. Das

Stromversorgungssymbol wird nicht gelesen, wenn der Tailgater ausgeschaltet ist.

• Bass Boost-Symbol: Das Bass Boost-Symbol wird gelesen, wenn die Bass Boost-

Funktion aktiviert ist. Das Symbol wird ausgeschaltet, wenn die Funktion deaktiviert ist.

• Link-Symbol: Das Link-Symbol wird angezeigt, wenn es mit einem anderen Lautsprecher

verbunden ist. Das Link-Symbol ist nicht zu sehen, wenn ein einzelner Lautsprecher

verwendet wird.

10. Gesamtlautstärkeregler: Regelt die Gesamtlautstärke des Lautsprechers. Dies beinhaltet den

Mikrofon-Eingang, den AUX-Eingang, den Radio und das Audiosignal eines gekoppelten

Bluetooth-Geräts.

11. Mikrofon Eingang mit Lautstärke-Regler (6,35 mm Klinke): Dieser Mono Eingang ist

kompatibel mit normalen Klinkenkabeln von einem Mikrofon, einer Gitarre oder einem anderen

Musikinstrument.

12. AUX-Eingang: Dieser 3,5 mm (1/8”) Stereo-Eingang kann dazu verwendet werden, einen

Smartphone, einen MP3-Player oder eine andere Audio-Quelle anzuschließen.

13. USB-Ladeanschluss: Schließen Sie das Ladekabel Ihres Geräts hier an, um es aufzuladen. Das

Laden via USB funktioniert nur, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.

1. NFC: Tippen Sie auf Ihr NFC-unterstütztes Gerät (kabellose

Nahbereichskommunikation), um es mit Ihrem Telefon zu koppeln, indem

Sie es vorsichtig gegen das "N"-Logo stoßen.

1. Netzkabel-Eingang: Schließen Sie hier das mitgelieferte Netzkabel

zum Netz der Batterie an. Der Party Boom kann mit dem Netzkabel

betrieben werden und gleichzeitig die Batterie laden.

2. Sicherungsabdeckung: Wenn die Sicherung des Geräts defekt ist,

heben Sie diese Platte mit einem Schraubendreher oder einem

anderen Werkzeug an, um die Sicherung zu ersetzen. Ersetzen Sie sie

mit einer Sicherung mit entsprechendem Sicherungswert. Die

Verwendung einer Sicherung mit falschem Sicherungswert kann das

Produkt und/oder die Sicherung beschädigen.

Verwendung des Radios

Auswählen eines Radiosenders:

1. Drücken Sie die Radio-Taste, um FM1, FM2, oder AM zu wählen.

2. Drücken Sie eine der Tune/Track-Tasten, um einen Radiosender auszuwählen. Um zu „suchen“

(also zum nächsten verfügbaren Sender zu springen), halten Sie eine dieser Tasten einige

Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die Suche nach einem Sender beginnt.

Speichern eines voreingestellten Radiosenders:

1. Drücken Sie die Radio-Taste, um FM1, FM2, oder AM zu wählen.

2. Drücken Sie eine der Tune/Track-Tasten, um einen Radiosender auszuwählen.

3. Halten Sie eine numerische Preset-Taste gedrückt, um den aktuellen Sender dieser Preset-

Nummer zuzuweisen. Auf dem Display erscheint „SAV“, um anzuzeigen, dass der Sender

gespeichert wurde.

Aufrufen eines gespeicherten Radiosender-Presets:

Koppeln eines Bluetooth-Geräts

1. Schalten Sie Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät ein.

2. Schalten Sie den Party Boom ein. Drücken Sie die Bluetooth-Taste, um mit dem Herstellen einer

Verbindung zu Ihrem Gerät zu beginnen. Das Bluetooth-Symbol auf dem Display beginnt zu

blinken, wenn versucht wird, eine Verbindung herzustellen. Wenn Sie bereits ein anderes

Bluetooth-Gerät angeschlossen haben, wird sich Party Boom erneut verbinden. Drücken Sie kurz

die Bluetooth-Taste, um die Verbindung zu trennen, wenn das Bluetooth-Symbol leuchtet.

3. Navigieren Sie zum Setup-Bildschirm Ihres Bluetooth-Geräts, wählen Sie “Party Boom” und

stellen Sie eine Verbindung her. Das Bluetooth-Symbol am Display leuchtet bei einer Verbindung

Koppeln eines Bluetooth-Geräts mit NFC

NFC (kabellose Nahbereichskommunikation) ermöglicht den Datenaustausch von Geräten, wie z. B.

die Kopplung durch leichtes Anstoßen. Lesen Sie in der Gebrauchsanleitung Ihres Geräts nach, ob

diese Funktion unterstützt wird.

So nutzen Sie NFC, um eine Verbindung mit dem Party Boom herzustellen:

1. Um NFC zu nutzen, muss das Gerät eingeschaltet und entsperrt werden.

2. Gehen Sie in das Einstellungen-Menü des Geräts und kontrollieren Sie, ob NFC eingeschaltet

ist (einmaliger Schritt).

3. Schalten Sie den Party Boom ein.

4. Drücken Sie kurz die Bluetooth-Taste am Party Boom und das Bluetooth-Symbol blinkt (nur

wenn NFC mit dem Gerät gekoppelt ist).

5. Berühren und halten Sie Ihr Gerät kurz zum NFC-Logo.

6. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen zum Koppeln, die auf Ihrem Telefon angezeigt werden. Wenn ein

Passcode erforderlich ist, geben Sie 0000 ein.

7. Stoßen Sie Ihr Gerät leicht gegen das "N"-Logo am oberen Teil des Party Boom, um die

Verbindung zu trennen.

Stereo-Linking von zwei Party Boom-Lautsprechern*

So verbinden Sie zwei Party Booms für die Stereowiedergabe:

1. Halten Sie die Wiedergabe/Pause/Link-Taste auf beiden Lautsprechern gedrückt, um in den

Stereo Link-Modus zu gelangen. Ein Ton wird zu hören sein und das Wort LINK beginnt zu

blinken, wenn ein zweiter Lautsprecher verbunden wird. Sobald eine Verbindung hergestellt

wurde, leuchtet das Wort LINK.

Hinweis: Der Verknüpfungsvorgang kann bis zu einer Minute dauern. Je näher die zwei

Lautsprecher zueinander platziert sind, desto schneller kann eine Verbindung hergestellt werden.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste Bluetooth an einem Lautsprecher und lassen Sie sie los, um die

Verbindung herzustellen. Das Bluetooth-Symbol auf dem zufällig zugewiesene Master-

Lautsprecher blinkt in den Koppel-Modus. Der Master-Lautsprecher (mit dem Bluetooth-Symbol

beleuchtet) spielt den linken Audiokanal ab.

3. Navigieren Sie zum Setup-Bildschirm Ihres Bluetooth-Geräts, suchen „Party Boom“ und

verbinden die Geräte. Siehe Betrieb > Koppeln eines Bluetooth-Geräts für Details zum

Bluetooth-Setup.

4. Um die Verbindung zwischen den beiden Lautsprechern zu trennen/abzubrechen, halten Sie die

Wiedergabe/Pause/Link-Taste gedrückt.

Fehlerbehebung

Der Ton klingt verzerrt: Drehen Sie den Lautstärkeregler an Ihrer Tonquelle, dem Musikinstrument

oder dem Mikrofon zurück. Versuchen Sie auch, die Gesamtlautstärke von Party Boom mit dem

Gesamtlautstärkeregler zu reduzieren.

Zu viel Bass: Versuchen Sie, den Ton- oder EQ-Regler Ihrer Tonquelle anzupassen, um den Bass zu

verringern. Dies ermöglicht Ihnen, die Musik lauter abzuspielen, bevor der Klang verzerrt.

Bei der Verwendung von Mikrofonen tritt einer hoher Pfeifton auf: Hier handelt es sich

wahrscheinlich um einen Rückkopplungseffekt. Richten Sie es so ein, dass die Mikrofone vom

Lautsprecher wegzeigen.

Schlechter AM-Empfang: Um den AM-Empfang einzustellen, bewegen Sie die gesamte Einheit.

Wenn das Mikrofon im Vergleich zur Musik zu leise eingestellt ist: Verringern Sie die

Musiklautstärke Ihrer Quelle.

Wenn Sie keine Musik von einem USB-Stick spielen können: Die USB-Anschlüss ist nur dem

Aufladen von USB-Geräten.

Snelstart

1. Zorg ervoor dat alle artikelen, opgesomd in Inhoud van de doos, zich in de doos

bevinden.

2. Lees de veiligheid-en garantie handleiding vooraleer het product te gebruiken.

3. Zorg ervoor dat de accu voor het eerste gebruik volledig is opgeladen, voor een maximale

levensduur.

4. Bestudeer het Aansluitschema.

5. Zorg ervoor dat het hoofdvolume op Party Boom op nul staat.

6. Sluit uw apparaten aan.

7. Verhoog het volume tot een aangenaam niveau.

8. Zet het hoofdvolume terug op nul wanneer u Party Boom stopt te gebruiken.

1. Stroom-knop: Schakelt de Party Boom in of uit. Opmerking: Wanneer de Party Boom

aangesloten is op een vermogensbron, hoeft deze niet ingeschakeld te zijn om de batterij te

laten opladen. Wanneer het apparaat is ingeschakeld, verschijnt op het scherm de

stroomindicator.

2. Bluetooth-knop: Druk op deze knop en laat hem los om het koppelen te starten.Druk op de knop

Bluetooth verbreken om een gekoppeld Bluetooth-apparaat.

3. Verlichtingsmodus-knop: Druk op de knop om te selecteren hoe de lichten werken:

• Kleuren doorlopen: De lichten gloeien traag en doorlopen de kleuren. Druk de

lichtmodustoets in om de lichten op één kleur vast te zetten.

• Beat Sync: De lichten reageren op het ritme van de muziek.

• Uit: De lichten gaan uit.

4. Bass Boost: Druk op deze knop om de basfrequenties te benadrukken.

5. Keuzeschakelaar Radio: Deze knop zet de Radio naar FM1, FM2, AM, of schakelt de radio uit.

6. Voorinstellingen AM/FM: Sla een favoriete radiozender op en stem snel af op een vooraf

ingestelde radiozender. Er zijn 4 numerieke posities om AM-voorkeuzezenders op te slaan en 2

banken met elk 4 numerieke posities om FM1- en FM2-voorkeuzezenders op te slaan.

i. Selecteer FM1, FM2, of AM en gebruik vervolgens de Radioknoppen om de gewenste

zender te selecteren.

ii. Druk en houd een numerieke voorkeuzeknop ingedrukt om de huidige zender aan dat

nummer toe te wijzen. Op dit scherm verschijnt "SAV (OPSLAAN)" om te tonen dat de

zender is opgeslagen. Om een toegevoegde voorkeuzezender te gebruiken, tikt u eenmaal

zachtjes op een voorkeuzenummer om naar de geprogrammeerde zender te gaan.

7. Zenderkeuze-/nummerknoppen: Tik op deze knoppen om af te stemmen op een radiozender

of naar het vorige/volgende nummer te gaan op een via Bluetooth aangesloten apparaat. Druk

om een zender te zoeken (naar de volgende beschikbare zender gaan) een van beide knoppen

enkele seconden in, tot het apparaat op zoek gaat naar een zender. Het apparaat onthoudt bij

het uitschakelen de laatste zender die speelde en start die zender weer op wanneer het apparaat

opnieuw wordt aangezet.

8. Afspelen/pauzeren/Link: Indrukken om een nummer vanaf een verbonden Bluetooth-apparaat

af te spelen of te pauzeren. Houd deze knop ingedrukt om een stereoverbinding tot stand te

brengen met een andere Party Boom-luidspreker. Houd deze knop ingedrukt om de verbinding

met een andere Party Boom-luidspreker te verbreken.

9. Scherm: Geeft het huidige radiostation, de accu-, en Bluetoothstatus.

• Oplaadindicator:

• Wanneer de voedingskabel is aangesloten, geven de bewegende batterijonderdelen op de

laadindicator aan dat de batterij wordt opgeladen. Van zodra hij volledig is opgeladen, gaan

alle batterijsegmenten branden, zonder te knipperen.

• Wanneer de stroomkabel wordt losgekoppeld, geven de segmenten het accuniveau weer.

• Wanneer het batterijniveau laag is, knippert het onderste batterijsegment.

• Als u binnen de 60 seconden geen knop op het voorpaneel indrukt, dan gaat de batterij-

indicator uit (om energie te besparen). De batterij-indicator gaat opnieuw aan wanneer een

knop wordt ingedrukt. Wanneer de batterij-indicator het laatste segment van het

batterijpictogram bereikt, gaat de batterij-indicator opnieuw aan.

• Bliksempictogram: Wanneer de stroomkabel op het stopcontact is aangesloten, begint

het pictogram met de bliksem te branden.

• Bluetooth-pictogram: Het Bluetooth-pictogram blijft branden wanneer de Party Boom is

gekoppeld aan een apparaat.

• Stroom-pictogram: Het stroom-pictogram zal worden branden wanneer Party Boom is

ingeschakeld. Het stroom-pictogram wordt niet branden als Party Boom is uitgeschakeld.

• Bass Boost-pictogram: Het Bass Boost-pictogram zal worden branden als de functie

Bass Boost is geactiveerd. Het pictogram is uitgeschakeld als de functie is gedeactiveerd.

• Koppelingspictogram: Bij een stereoverbinding met een andere luidspreker brandt het

koppelingspictogram. Het koppelingspictogram staat uit wanneer maar een luidspreker

wordt gebruikt.

10. Hoofdvolumeregeling: Hiermee past u het maximale volume van de hoofdmix in de luidspreker

aan. Tot de hoofdmix behoren de microfooningang, de aux-ingang, de Radio en het

geluidssignaal van een gekoppeld Bluetooth-apparaat.

11. Microfoon met volume-besturing (6,35 mm): Deze mono-ingang accepteert 6,35 mm (1/4")-

input zoals microfoon, gitaar of andere muziekinstrumenten.

12. Aux-ingang: Deze stereo 3,5mm (1/8”) ingang kan worden gebruikt om een cd-speler, mp3-

speler of andere geluidsbron te verbinden.

13. USB-oplaadpoort: Sluit hier de oplaadkabel van uw apparaat aan om het op te laden. Opladen

met USB werkt alleen als het apparaat is ingeschakeld.

Bovenpaneel

1. NFC: Tik hier op uw gsm die NFC (near-field communication) ondersteunt

en waarop deze dienst is geactiveerd door zachtjes op het 'N'-logo te

stoten.

Achterpaneel

1. Stroomkabel-ingang (Achterpaneel): Steek de meegeleverde

stroomkabel hierin om de unit op te stroom. Merk op dat de Party

Boom kan worden gebruikt met de stroomkabel terwijl tegelijkertijd

laadt de batterij.

2. Zekeringsklep: Als de zekering van het apparaat kapot is, til dan met

behulp van een schroevendraaier of ander gereedschap dit klepje op

om de zekering te vervangen. Vervang de zekering door een zekering

met dezelfde waarde. Het gebruik van een zekering met een verkeerde

waarde kan het apparaat en/of de zekering beschadigen.

Operatie

De radio gebruiken

Een radiostation selecteren:

1. Druk op de Radio-toets om FM1, FM2, of AM te selecteren.

2. Gebruik een van de Tune/Track-toetsen om een radiostation te selecteren. Om te "zoeken"

(naar de volgende beschikbare zender te gaan) drukt u een van de toetsen enkele seconden in,

tot deze naar een zender begint te zoeken.

Een radiostation opslaan als voorkeuzezender:

1. Druk op de Radio-toets om FM1, FM2, of AM te selecteren.

2. Gebruik een van de Tune/Track-toetsen om een radiostation te selecteren.

3. Houd een numerieke voorkeuzeknop ingedrukt om de huidige zender aan dat voorkeuzenummer

toe te wijzen. Op het scherm verschijnt "SAV" om te tonen dat de zender is opgeslagen.

Een opgeslagen voorkeuzezender oproepen:

1. Druk op de Radio-toets om FM1, FM2, of AM te selecteren.

2. Druk om een toegevoegde voorkeuzezender te beluisteren zachtjes een keer op het

voorkeuzenummer.

Een Bluetooth-apparaat koppelen

1. Zet uw Bluetooth-apparaat aan.

2. Zet de Party Boom aan. Druk op de Bluetooth-knop en laat deze los om het koppelen te starten.

Het Bluetooth-pictogram op het scherm begint te knipperen wanneer u probeert te koppelen. Als

u eerder verbinding hebt gemaakt met een ander Bluetooth-apparaat, zal de Party Boom

opnieuw verbinding maken. Houd de Bluetooth-knop ingedrukt om de koppeling te verbreken

wanneer het Bluetooth-pictogram brandt.

3. Navigeer naar het instelscherm van uw Bluetooth-apparaat, zoek naar Party Boom en maak

verbinding. Het Bluetooth-pictogram op het scherm begint te knipperen wanneer de koppeling is

geslaagd.

Opmerking: Als uw Bluetooth-apparaat om een koppelingscode verzoekt, voer dan 0000 in.

4. Bij een brandend Bluetooth-pictogram: de Bluetooth-knop indrukken en loslaten om een

koppeling te verbreken.

5. Om het te verbinden met een ander Bluetooth-apparaat, herhaalt u stap 3.

Een Bluetooth-apparaat koppelen met NFC

NFC (near-field communication) maakt gegevensuitwisseling tussen apparaten mogelijk, zoals

koppeling, door ze zachtjes tegen elkaar te stoten. Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw apparaat om te

zien of deze functie wordt ondersteund.

NFC gebruiken om te koppelen met de Party Boom:

1. Om NFC te gebruiken, moet uw apparaat zijn ingeschakeld en ontgrendeld.

2. Ga naar het menu Instellingen van uw apparaat en controleer of NFC Aanstaat (eenmalige

handeling).

3. Zet de Party Boom aan.

4. Giek en het Bluetooth-pictogram knipperen (alleen nodig wanneer NFC voor het eerst met het

apparaat koppelt).

5. Met uw apparaat kort het NFC-logo aanraken en het ertegen houden.

6. Volg de koppelingsinstructies die op uw telefoon verschijnen. Als een wachtwoord wordt

gevraagd, voer dan 0000 in.

7. Stoot zachtjes uw apparaat tegen het NFC-logo op het bovenpaneel van de Party Boom.

Stereokoppeling van twee Party Boom-luidsprekers*

Twee Party Boom-luidsprekers koppelen voor stereoklank:

1. Druk de Play/Pause/Link-knop in op beide luidsprekers om de stereokoppelingsmodus te

activeren. Er is een toon hoorbaar en het woord LINK begint te knipperen wanneer de tweede

luidspreker wordt gekoppeld. Zodra de koppeling tot stand is gebracht, blijft het woord LINK

permanent branden.

Opmerking: Het koppelingsproces kan een minuut in beslag nemen. Hoed dichter de

luidsprekers zich bij elkaar bevindne, hoe sneller het koppelingsproces wordt voltooid.

2. Druk op de knop Bluetooth op een van beide luidsprekers en laat hem los om het koppelen te

starten. Het Bluetooth-pictogram op de willekeurig toegewezen hoofdluidspreker knippert in de

koppelmodus. De hoofdluidspreker (met het Bluetooth-pictogram verlicht) speelt het linker

audiokanaal.

3. Ga naar het instellingenscherm van uw Bluetooth-apparaat, zoek naar "Party Boom" en maak

verbinding. Zie Operatie > Een Bluetooth-apparaat koppelen voor instellingsgegevens voor

Bluetooth.

4. Druk de Play/Pause/Link-knop in en houd deze ingedrukt om de koppeling tussen de twee

luidsprekers te verbreken.

* Mogelijk zal deze luidspreker ook in staat zijn om verbinding te maken met andere luidsprekers van

het ION Audio productassortiment. Ga voor meer informatie naar ionaudio.com.

Problemen oplossen

Het geluid is vervormd: Probeer de volumeknop van uw geluidsbron, muziekinstrument of

microfoon te verlagen. Probeer ook om het hoofdvolume van de Party Boom met de

hoofdvolumeknop te verlagen.

Er zijn teveel bassen: Probeer op de toon- of EQ-bedieningsknoppen aan uw geluidsbron het

niveau van de lage tonen te verlagen. Dit stelt u in staat de muziek luider te zetten vooraleer

“afgeknipte” (vervormde) klanken optreden.

Er is een hoge fluitende pieptoon bij het gebruik van microfoons: Dit is waarschijnlijk feedback.

Richt de microfoon weg van de luidspreker.

Bij slechte AM-ontvangst: Verplaats heel het apparaat voor het verbeteren van de AM-ontvangst.

Als u de microfoon niet kan horen boven het geluid van de muziek: Verlaag het volume van de

muziek van uw geluidsbron.

U kunt geen muziek afspelen van een USB-stick: De USB-poort is alleen geschikt om USB-

apparaten op te laden.
