model. When replacing any parts, you must strictly observe
the instructions and procedures described in this manual.
Special care should be paid to any rubber parts, since
these parts may increase the engine load and decrease its
mechanical power if damaged.
• Tip over hazard – DO NOT operate near drop-os, ditches,
or embankments. Unit can suddenly turn over if a wheel is
over the edge of a cli or ditch, or if an edge caves in.
• Always back up slowly – Do not operate in reverse unless
absolutely necessary. Always look down and behind before
and while backing.
• Prevent unauthorized use – Never leave snow blower
unattended. Always stop the motor, remove battery pack to
prevent unauthorized use.
• Check all controls frequently – Check both switch bar
lever and safety button frequently. Adjust and service as
required. The auger must stop quickly when the switch bar
is released.
• Avoid steep slopes – DO NOT operate on steep slopes.
DO NOT clear snow across the face of slopes. Keep all
movement on slopes slow and gradual. DO NOT make
sudden changes in speed or direction. Use a slow speed to
avoid stops or shifts on slopes. Avoid starting or stopping
on a slope.
• Keep all hardware properly tightened – Check shear bolts
frequently.
