#1 Is this wood and Can this be stained a darker color or Does it have laminate covering?

Yes, this is wood (with wood veneers).

#2 Is it safe to put your TV directly on fireplace (Fits TVs up to 62-in and weighing) OR does the TV need to be mounted on the wall like in the picture?

Yes, I have a 65” tv on it. When they refer to 62” they’re only referencing the width of the tv stand. You can have whatever size TV that is under 100 pounds and the base is less than 62” wide.c

#3 Why weren't the brackets on the inside of cabinet just attach to the doors so there wasn't so much of wasted time trying to get the doors on?

This is the simplest solution. Tried for an hour to get hinges to click in to place and nothing. Took the hinges off the fireplace itself and they snapped right together. Just had to reinstall the 4 screws per hinge and adjust if necessary.

#4 Can you use regular outlet household current?

Yes but I’m getting a good grade surge protector for mine because I have older outlets and lots of issues with lightening where I live.
