OPERATION
Slamming the detergent dispenser
drawer may result in the detergent
overflowing into another
compartment or pouring into the
tub earlier than programmed.
CAUTION
Do not place or store laundry products,
such as detergent, bleach, or liquid
fabric softener, on top of your washer.
These products can damage the
washer’s finish and controls.
NOTE
The manual dispenser cannot be used
for dispensing pre-wash detergent.
When adding detergent tablets and
water softener, be sure to turn off the
ezDispense
function.
Manual Main Wash Detergent
Compartment
This compartment holds laundry
detergent for the main wash cycle. It is
recommended that powdered detergent
be used in this compartment.
Liquid or powdered color-safe bleach
may be added to the manual main
wash compartment with detergent of
the same type. Do not mix liquids and
powders.
If you use a detergent that does not
dissolve easily or a detergent with high
viscosity, it will leave a residue and clog
the dispenser.
Be sure to turn off the
ezDispense
function.
Adding Detergent Tablets
Detergent tablets can also be used when
washing.
1
Open the door and put detergent
tablets into the drum before loading
the clothes.
2
Load the clothes into the drum and
close the door.
NOTE
Do not put tablets into the dispenser.
Adding Water Softener
A water softener, such as anti-limescale
can be used to cut down on the use of
detergent in areas with high water
hardness level.
First add detergent, and then the
water softener. Dispense according to
the amount specified on the
packaging.
