Thank you for purchasing this product. To ensure the safe and efficient use of this
drinking fountain, basic precautions should always be observed, including the following:
1) Read all the instructions before using appliance.
2) To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used near children.
3) Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
4) Do not use outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
5) Do not operate any appliance wi
th a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
6) To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not place or store appliance where it can
fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
7) Always unplug any appliance when it is not in use, and before putting on or taking
off parts and cleaning. Never yank a cord to remove from the outlet, must grasp the
plug.
8) Do not allow the pump to run dry. The pump must be immersed in water completely.
ADD WATER WHEN THE PUMP IS MAKING EXCESSIVE NOISE.
9) Never place this appliance
in bedroom especially for light sleepers or persons
having sleep disorder.

1. Remove the unit and all accessories from packaging.
2. Clean fountain before using to remove any dirt or debris. Wash and rinse thoroughly
the complete unit (excluding the filter) with a sponge. Do not use abrasive cleansers or
materials on any part of the unit.
3. Place pump (having electrical cord, do not get the USB port wet), then attach foam
filter to it and mount intake tube onto top of the pump properly.
4. Lead power cord down through the cord holder and draw out the cord along the
groove in bo
ttom.
5. Fill the fountain unit with enough water. The pump must be immersed in water
completely. Do not allow the pump to run dry.
6. Place lid onto the main body of fountain.
7. Place charcoal filter into filter holder of the lid, and press down firmly. Note: before
use soak the filter in water for 5 minutes and rinse to remove excess loose charcoal
dust, which is harmless.
8. Place water tray.
9. Attach power cord to AC adapter, and plug in socket. Note: secure excess power
cord with tie wrap and place behind unit to avoid p
et chewing and entanglement.
The fountain must be cleaned regularly weekly to continue working normally.
1. Fountain - Wash and rinse fountain with a soft sponge and a non-abrasive cleanser.
Rinse thoroughly, ensuring no soapy residue.
2. Filter - Remove the filter unit. Open the filter shell and take out the filter chip to rinse
separately. Do not wash the filter chip with soap. If filter chip contains excess debris or
other foreign matter, replace it (replacement filter chips are sold separately).
The filter chips should be replaced every 2
-4 weeks or when there are visible signs that
the filter chip is saturated with foreign matter (debris, food,hair, etc.)
Cleaning the pump is essential to the longevity of the fountain as well as the cleanliness
of the water. Please clean the pump once a month. IMPORTANT: Warranty would be
invalid if the motor is not cleaned.
Gently lift the motor out of its resting place. Suction cups on the bottom of the motor
will hold it in place. A small amount of force may be necessary. Check below for how
to disassemble the pump for cleaning:
1. Use a tool or fingernail inserted into the seam to pry faceplate off.
2. Take off the faceplate.
3. Remove the stat
or by pulling up on the small lip.
4. Use a tool or fingernail to pull out the impeller, which is help in place magnetically.
5. Use a brush to clean the pump inside, impeller, stator and faceplate with warm water
and soap, the reassemble.

The PETBIA Drinking Fountain offers a 1-year limited warranty from the original date
of purchase. This warranty is valid only under normal operating conditions for which
the unit is intended. This warranty will not apply to any unit subjected to improper use,
negligence o r tampering. The pump must be maintained in accordance with the
instructions. The motor is factory sealed; tampering will void warranty.
