6. Inial use
1. The dehydrator trays must be clean and wiped with a cloth be-
fore using them for the rst me.
2. Place the prepared food items on the desired trays. Then place
the trays correctly in the dehydrator and put the lid on the ap-
pliance.
3. Note that the strong aromas from some food items may be
transferred to other food items. This may adversely aect the
taste.
4. Connect the power cord to the appliance and press the "ON/
OFF" buon. The appliance switches on.
5. Select the desired temperature and duraon using the "UP" and
"DOWN" buons. You can switch between temperature and du-
raon using the "SET" buon. Depending on whether you want
to set the temperature or duraon, either a me-symbol or a
thermometer-symbol is shown next to the display.
6. Once the food items are dried completely, the appliance switch-
es to standby mode. You will hear two beeps. Disconnect the
mains plug to switch o the appliance completely.
7. Clean the drip tray and the liquid collecon chamber aer dry-
ing.
Note: For smaller food items to be dried, we recommend the use of
ne-mesh inlay mat.
