Connections
Stereo Chain Connections
True Wireless (TWS) Connection
1. Switch both hi- systems in BT (Bluetooth) mode.
2. Press and hold the STEREO CHAIN button on both the speakers. Both units will display
PARTY.
3. Press
/
button to select between HOST and SLAVE for each unit.
4. Enable your Bluetooth device and make sure it is in searching mode.
5. Select MX-D528B and enter 0000 for the password if necessary.
6. The master speaker will act as the left channel during TWS and will receive the
Bluetooth signal, the other speaker will act as the right channel to play music.
Connecting two hi- systems with a RCA Cable
1. Use an Audio RCA cable (not included) to connect a speakers AUDIO L/R OUT sockets
to another speakers AUDIO L/R IN sockets.
2. Press the STEREO CHAIN button repeatedly on the unit connected at AUDIO L/R OUT
socket. The display will scroll-display CHAIN SELECT, press
/ button to choose
the unit to be the HOST unit.
3. Press the STEREO CHAIN button repeatedly on the unit connected at AUDIO L/R IN
socket. The display will scroll-display CHAIN SELECT, press
/ button to choose
the unit to be the SLAVE unit.

The button, / button, EQ button, BOOSTER function and volume are controlled by AUDIO
L/R OUT of the unit in STEREO CHAIN ON/OFF mode.
Stereo Chain mode is applicable on Bluetooth / USB / Line in / FM and Audio In sources.
Press the STEREO CHAIN button repeatedly to switch the Stereo Chain mode on or o.
To create a stereo chain connection, you need to have two megatower hi- systems.
Press and hold the STEREO CHAIN button to disconnect the TWS connection.

Connecting a Mobile Device
Connect the LINE IN (AUX IN) socket of the main unit to the headphone jack on a mobile
device (not included) with a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio cable illustrated below.
Connecting a Microphone
Connect your microphone (not included) into the MIC IN socket.
Turn the MIC VOL./MIC ECHO. dial to adjust the volume/echo of the microphone.

Connecting a Guitar
You can connect a guitar (not included) to the unit directly through the GUITAR IN socket
on the top panel.
1. Connect your guitar to the GUITAR IN socket with a 6.5 mm connecter.
2. Turn the GUITAR VOL dial to adjust the volume of the guitar.
Charging from the USB Charging Port
The USB CHARGING 5V 2.1A socket is designed only for charging mobile devices
(e.g. MP3 player, mobile phone, etc.). It supplies 5V DC at a charging current of up to 2100
mA (2.1 A).
Use a USB cable (not included) to connect mobile device (not included) to the USB
CHARGING
5V 2.1A Socket of the unit and the mobile device will start charging.

Connecting to the Mains Supply
Ensure all audio connections of the unit are connected before connecting to the mains power socket.
Make sure the mains plug is rmly inserted into the mains socket.
To switch the unit o completely, remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Please turn the unit o completely to save energy when not in use.
Use the mains cable as the disconnect device. The disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
Unwind the mains adapter cable to its full length. Connect the AC IN~ socket at the rear of
the main unit to mains plug to the mains socket.

Basic Operation
Switching ON / OFF
Press button to switch the unit on. The display will show ON. Then, the system will
switch to the last selected source.
Press
button to switch the unit back to standby mode. The display will show
STANDBY”.
ECO-Power Mode
The unit features an ECO-Power mode. It automatically turns o if the unit is idle or the
external unit is disconnected, switched o or the volume is too close to mute for about 15
minutes.
Selecting Modes
Turn the SOURCE button to switch between TUNER (FM), AUDIO (Audio in), LINE (Line in),
USB and BT (Bluetooth®) modes. The selected mode will show on the display.
Adjust the Speaker Level Settings and Eects
Adjusting the Volume
To increase or decrease the volume, turn the VOL+/– dial.
Preset Equalizer
During play, press the EQ button repeatedly to select: CUSTOM / FUNK / ROCK / JAZZ /
SAMBA / POP.
Treble/Bass settings
1. Press EQ button repeatedly to select CUSTOM.
2. Press TREBLE/BASS button to select between TR (Treble) and BS (Bass) EQ eect.
3. Turn the VOL+/– dial to select the treble/bass level from -4 to 4.
BOOSTER
Press BOOSTER button to switch on/o the booster eect. The volume level will be
boosted immediately.
Adjust the LED light
Press the LIGHT PRESS button/COLOUR dial repeatedly to select the LED eect between
LEd OFF, LEd1, LEd2, LEd3, LEd4, LEd5 and LEd6.
After choosing LEd1 or LEd2, turn the LIGHT PRESS button/COLOUR dial to select
between RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW, CYAN, PURPLE and WHITE.
The Treble / Bass can only work under EQ CUSTOM mode.
To switch the unit o completely, remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Please turn the unit o completely to save energy when not in use.
The EQ cannot work under BOOSTER mode.

FM Radio Operation
The search may not stop at a station with a very weak signal.
If reception is poor, move the unit to a stronger signal location.
Press SOURCE button repeatedly to select the tuner source. The display will show TUNER”.
Tuning in a Station
Auto Tuning
1. Press and hold
button to start auto tuning. Press
button again to stop the auto
tuning.
2. The searched radio stations will be stored as preset station.
The search may not stop at a station with a very weak signal.
Manual Tuning
Press and hold or
button to start the forward or reverse scanning. The display will
show the frequency being searched. Once a station has been found, the scanning will stop
automatically.
With FM radio it may be necessary to ne tune each station by pressing or button repeatedly.
Each press will adjust the frequency by 0.05MHz. If reception is still poor adjust the position of the aerial
or try moving the radio to another location.

Using the USB
By connecting a USB mass storage device (including USB ash memory, USB ash players or
memory cards) to this unit, you can enjoy the devices stored music through the unit.
1. Insert the USB device into the USB PLAYBACK
5V 0.5A socket on the top of the unit.
The unit will switch into USB mode automatically
and start playback.
Or
Press SOURCE button repeatedly to select the
USB source. The word USB will be showed on
the display. If there is no USB device connected,
the display will show NO USB”.
2. Press
button to pause/resume playback.
3. Press and hold
or button to select next/
previous album, and play the rst track.
The player supports the USB music le format of MP3 only.
The unit can support USB devices with up to 32 GB of memory.
The unit may not be compatible with all USB devices, this is not an indication of a problem with the
unit.
LINE IN (AUX IN) Operation
1. While in ON mode, press the SOURCE button to select the Line in / Audio in mode. The
words LINE / AUDIO will be shown on the display.
2. Operate your audio device directly for playback features.
3. Turn VOL +/– dial to adjust the volume to your desired level.

Bluetooth® Operation
Pairing the unit with a Bluetooth® device to listen to music:
1. Press the SOURCE button to select the Bluetooth® mode. The word BT PAIRING will
scroll across on the display.
2. Activate your Bluetooth® device and select the search mode. MX-D528B will appear
on your Bluetooth® device list.
3. Select MX-D528B and enter 0000 for the password if necessary. After the
connection, the display will show BT and the unit will make a beep sound.
4. To disconnect the Bluetooth® function,
Switch to another function on the unit or disable the function from your Bluetooth®
device. The unit will make a beep sound.
Press and hold
Bluetooth button. The unit will make a beep sound twice.
If your Bluetooth
® device supports A2DP, play music via your device.
To pause / resume playback, press
.
To skip to a track, press

Turn the VOL +/– dial to increase or decrease the volume.
The operational range between the unit and the device is approximately 10 metres.
Before connecting a Bluetooth® device to the unit, ensure you know the devices capabilities.
Compatibility with all Bluetooth® devices is not guaranteed.
Any obstacle between the device and the unit can reduce operational range.
Keep this player away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
The player will also be disconnected when your device is moved beyond the operational range.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
Ensure the unit is fully unplugged from the mains socket before cleaning.
To clean the units, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.
Do not spray aerosol at or near the unit.

General
Problem Solution
No power. Ensure the mains plug is connected.
Make sure that you select the ON mode.
No sound from the unit. Please try either one of the solutions below:
Make sure that the unit is not muted. Turn the VOL +/– dial
to resume normal listening.
Press
button to switch the unit to standby mode. Then
press the button again to switch the unit on.
Unplug the unit from the mains socket, then plug them
again. Switch on the unit.
The unit does not
respond when pressing
any buttons.
The unit may freeze up during use. Switch the unit o and
then on again at the mains socket to reset the unit.
Radio
Problem Solution
Poor radio reception. Electrical interference in your home can cause poor
reception. Move the unit away from them (especially those
with motors and transformers).
Desired station not
found.
Weak signal. Search manually.
If reception is still poor, adjust the position of the aerial.
Bluetooth®
Problem Solution
I cannot nd
MX-D528B on my
Bluetooth® device.
Ensure the Bluetooth® function is activated on your
Bluetooth® device.
Ensure you have paired your unit with the Bluetooth®
device.
If any functional abnormality is encountered, unplug the unit from the mains socket and reconnect it
