Important Safety Instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age
and older and by persons with physical, sensory or mental
impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are
properly supervised or have been informed about how to
use of the product in asafe manner and understand the
potential dangers.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by
unsupervised children.
If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced in
aprofessional service centre to prevent the risk of injury.
Never use the appliance if the power cord is damaged.
This appliance is designed for household use only. It is
also suitable for personal non-commercial use in spaces
such as:
kitchenettes in shops, offices and other workplaces;
– agricultural premises;
hotels, motels and other residential environments;
bed and breakfast establishments.
The appliance must not be immersed in water or any other
liquids.
Turn off the appliance and unplug the power cord from
the power socket when the appliance is not in use,

Before connecting the appliance to apower socket, make sure that its nominal voltage indicated on the rating plate matches the electrical voltage of
the socket.
Connect the appliance only to aproperly earthed socket. For safety reasons, we do not recommend using adaptors or extension cables.
Do not place the appliance on windowsills, sink drain trays or unstable surfaces. Always place the appliance on astable, flat and dry surface.
Do not place the appliance on an electric or gas stove or near an open flame.
Never use the appliance in the immediate vicinity of abath, shower or swimming pool.
The appliance is designed to brew filtered coffee or tea. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Use the appliance according to the instructions in this user manual. Failure to do so may result in injury, damage to the appliance, or ahazardous
situation.
Leave at least 15 cm of free space around and above the appliance to ensure proper air circulation during operation.
Do not place any objects on the top surface of the appliance, the warming plate or the glass carafe.
Use the appliance only with the original accessories supplied with it.
Only use the appliance with the glass carafe supplied with it. Do not overfill the glass carafe, expose it to any other heat source or use it for heating
liquids or food in amicrowave oven.
Do not use the appliance if the glass carafe is cracked or has aloose or damaged handle, etc. If the carafe shows any signs of damage, it must be
replaced.
The appliance must not be used without the filter holder and coffee filter. Never pour ground coffee or tea directly into the filter holder.
Fill the water tank with clean, cold water. Do not pour heated water or other liquids into the tank or insert any objects into it.
Always fill the filter with ground coffee intended for this type of appliance. Never fill the filter with whole coffee beans, instant coffee, cocoa beans,
cocoa, etc. This could damage the appliance.
Before switching on the appliance, make sure it is correctly assembled.
Take extra care when operating the appliance to avoid be scalded by hot coffee.
Do not open the drip coffee maker lid during operation.
Take extra care when handling the glass carafe containing hot coffee. There is arisk of scalding or injury if handled incorrectly.
Do not immerse the hot glass carafe in ice-cold water. Do not leave the empty carafe standing on awarming plate that is switched on. This could
damage it.
When using the appliance, check the water level in the water tank regularly. If the water level falls below the minimum mark, refill the water tank.
Before adding water, first turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the power socket.
Before using the appliance again, switch it off and let it cool down for 10 minutes.
The appliance is equipped with asafety thermal fuse that automatically breaks the electrical circuit if it overheats. If this happens, unplug the
appliance from the power socket and let it cool down. The appliance can be used again after it has cooled down. Do not fill the tank with cold water
to quickly cool the heating element.
Always turn off and unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in use, when left unattended, before disassembly or assembly, before
refilling the tank, before moving or cleaning it. Allow the appliance to fully cool down before cleaning or moving.
Keep the appliance and its accessories clean. Perform the cleaning and maintenance following the instructions in the Cleaning and Maintenance
section. Do not wash the appliance under running water or submerge it in water or any another liquid.
Never move the appliance with the tank filled with water or with the carafe on the warming plate.
Ensure that the power cable does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not leave the power cord hanging over the edge of atable or awork bench.
Unplug the appliance from the power socket by pulling on the plug, not the power cable. Otherwise, you may damage the power cable or the
socket.
Make sure that the power cable and plug do not come into contact with water or other fluids.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not repair or modify the appliance yourself. All repairs should be carried out by an authorised service centre.
Tampering with the appliance may result in the loss of your legal rights regarding faulty performance or warranty for quality.

even in cases when you are already familiar with the use of similar
types of appliances. Use the appliance only as described in this
user manual. Keep the manual for future reference. If you pass the
appliance on to another person, ensure that this user manual is
included.
Carefully unpack the appliance and make sure not to discard any part
of the packaging material until you have removed all components
of the appliance. It is recommended that you keep the original
packaging, packing material, receipt and confirmation of the extent
of the seller'sliability or warranty certificate at least for the duration
of the legal right to file adefect claim or the quality warranty. When

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use, remove the appliance and its accessories from the
packaging and discard all promotional labels and tags. Check that neither
the appliance nor any of its components is damaged.
Open the lid andremove the fine filter and the filter holder. Thoroughly
wash the fine filter, filter holder and glass carafe in warm water with alittle
neutral dishwashing liquid. Rinse under running water and dry them.
Insert back into the drip coffee maker. Ensure that all accessories are
thoroughly dry.
Wipe the drip coffee maker with asoft sponge lightly moistened with
warm water. Then wipe with adry cloth.
Commissioning the Drip Coffee Maker
Before first use, or after alonger period of inactivity, it is important to clean
the appliance using clean water without ground coffee in the filter. Follow
these steps:
1. Open the lid and pour clean cold water into the tank up to the
maximum water mark. Never fill the water over the high water mark.
2. Insert the fine filter into the holder. Make sure it is inserted correctly.
Close the cover.
3. Place the glass carafe on the warming plate.
4. Plug the power cord into the mains socket.
5. Move the switch to position I(on) and the power indicator light will be
lit.
6. After ashort moment, the brewing process will automatically start,
dripping water into the carafe.
7. Wait until the entire contents of the tank have passed through the
filter into the glass carafe.
8. As soon as the tank is empty, move the switch to position 0 (off).
9. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times as needed.
Once this is done, the drip coffee maker will be clean, heated, and ready
for use.
Note:
During the process of cleaning andpreparing coffee, you
will hear aclick sound. This is the sound of the pump andit
is anormal event.
Note:
You may notice aslight smell or faint smoke during the
first use. This is anormal phenomenon that will disappear
over time.

USING THE DRIP COFFEE MAKER
1. Place the drip coffee maker on astable, flat surface at asafe
distance from the mains socket.
2. Ensure that the switch is in the 0 (off) position. Insert the power plug
into aproperly grounded mains socket.
3. Open the lid and pour clean cold water into the tank up to the
maximum water mark. Never fill the water over the high water mark.
4. Insert the fine filter into the holder. You may also use paper filters
designed for drip coffee makers.
5. Add asufficient amount of ground coffee into the filter. Use only
ground coffee intended for this type of appliance. As ageneral
guideline, you will need one full tablespoon of ground coffee per cup.
However, the amount of ground coffee may be adjusted according to
your personal preference.
6. Close the cover.
7. Place the glass carafe on the warming plate.
8. Move the switch to position I(on) and the power indicator light will be
lit.
9. After ashort moment, the coffee brewing process will start
automatically. The brewed coffee will flow into the carafe.
Note:
You may remove the glass carafe from the drip coffee
maker and serve the coffee. The brewing process will
automatically pause; however, this pause must not exceed
30 seconds. There is arisk of the filter overflowing and
damaging the appliance.
10. Once the coffee brewing process is complete, switch to the 0 (off)
position.
11. If you are no longer using the coffee maker, unplug the power
cord from the mains socket. Allow the coffee maker to cool down
sufficiently, then clean it according to the instructions in the
Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Note:
Before using the coffee maker again, allow it to cool down
for approximately 10 minutes. Otherwise, there is arisk of
overheating and subsequent damage.
Keeping the Coffee Warm
If you are not going to serve the coffee immediately after brewing, leave
the drip coffee maker switched on. After 32 minutes in the keep-warm
mode, the coffee maker automatically switches to the off state.
After this time, the plate will stop heating.

COFFEE MAKING TIPS
Keep the drip coffee maker clean. Regularly remove limescale
deposits, as they may negatively affect the taste of the brewed coffee.
For more information, refer to the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section.
Always use high-quality, clean, cold water.
Store coffee beans or ground coffee in acool, dry place. Once opened,
reseal the bag tightly and use within two weeks. Prefer smaller packs
of ground coffee or coffee beans.
To achieve aricher flavour, brew coffee using freshly ground beans.
Do not brew coffee using previously used ground coffee.

Cleaning the Filter and Holder
Before removing the holder and the fine filter, make sure that all parts
are completely cooled down. These parts may be very hot during and
after the coffee brewing process. Remove the used coffee from the fine
filter. You may dispose of the used filter in regular household waste or
compost it.
Carefully wash the fine filter and the filter holder in warm water with
asmall amount of neutral dishwashing detergent. Rinse under clean
running water and dry thoroughly.
Cleaning the Glass Carafe and Lid
Pour out any unused coffee from the carafe and allow it to cool
completely. It is important to clean the carafe and lid after each use. This
prevents the build-up of residues that may negatively affect the taste of
the brewed coffee and shorten the lifespan of the carafe.
Rinse the glass carafe with warm water and wash it in warm water with
asmall amount of neutral dishwashing detergent. Rinse under clean
running water and dry thoroughly.
Cleaning the Exterior Surface of the Drip Coffee Maker
Before cleaning the exterior surface, ensure that the drip coffee maker is
completely cooled down, especially the warming plate. Wipe the exterior
surface of the drip coffee maker, including the warming plate, with asoft
sponge lightly moistened with warm water. Wipe dry with aclean cloth.
Removing Limescale Deposits
Limescale deposits may build up in the drip coffee maker through
regular use, which can negatively affect the taste of the brewed coffee
and shorten the lifespan of the appliance. It is important to descale the
appliance regularly.
Pour the water solution and the lime scale remover up to the maximum
level into the water tank. Follow the instructions on the packaging of the
descaling agent.
Note:
Descaling agents can be purchased from regular retail
outlets. Always use aproduct intended for domestic drip
coffee makers. Do not use vinegar or citric acid.

into the mains socket.
3. Move the switch to position I(on) and the power indicator light will be
lit.
4. After ashort moment, the descaling solution will automatically begin
dripping into the carafe.
5. Wait until the entire contents of the tank have passed through the
filter into the glass carafe.
6. An audible alert sounds when the tank is empty. Pour out the
solution from the carafe and rinse it.
7. Pour clean cold water up to the maximum mark into the tank and
allow the entire contents of the tank to flow through again.
Note:
If necessary, repeat the descaling process and then rinse
thoroughly with clean water.
