Intended use
This accessory is designed for the hand mixer MFQ364...
Follow the operating instructions for the hand mixer.
Do not attach or remove the hand mixer until the appliance is at a
standstill. The accessory is suitable only for the use described in
these instructions.
Safety information
W Risk of injury from sharp blades!
Never grip the blade in the universal cutter. Take hold of the univer-
sal cutter blade by the plastic handle only. Do not touch the blade of
the universal cutter with bare hands. Clean with a brush. The univer-
sal cutter must be completely assembled before use!
W Important!
Never use the quick blender in the universal cutter container. The
universal cutter is not microwave-safe. Do not t or remove the
attachment for the universal cutter until the appliance has come to
a standstill. Never immerse the attachment of the universal cutter in
liquids and do not clean under running water or in the dishwasher.
W Risk of harm to health!
Soiling on surfaces may be harmful to health. Follow the cleaning
instructions. Clean surfaces which come into contact with food
before each use.
The universal cutter is suitable for cutting
up meat, hard cheese, onions, herbs, garlic,
fruit, vegetables, nuts and almonds.
Warning!
– The universal cutter should only be used
once fully assembled!
– Before cutting up meat, remove gristle,
bones and sinews.
– The universal cutter is not suitable
for cutting up very hard items (coee
beans, radishes, nutmeg) and frozen
food (fruit etc.).

work surface and press into position.
1. Insert blade.
Important: The blade must be positioned
straight in the container.
2. Add food.
Before use, read these instructions
carefully in order to become familiar with
important safety and operating instruc-
tions for this appliance. Please keep the
operating instructions in a safe place.
If passing on the appliance to a third party,
always include the operating instructions.

3. Place the gear attachment on the con-
tainer and rotate clockwise until it clicks
into position.
4. Move the slider to position x. The
rear aperture is open, the apertures for
inserting the tools are closed.
5. Place the base unit on the gear attach-
ment and press until it audibly clicks into
position.
6. Insert the mains plug.
7. Hold the base unit and universal cutter
rmly. Turn the switch to setting M and
hold.
Tip: The best results will be achieved
by operating the appliance intermittently
(switch on briey, pause, switch on
briey, …).
Important: Never lift the universal cutter o
the work surface!
8. After processing set the switch to 0.
Wait until the drive comes to a standstill.
9. Pull out the mains plug.
10. Hold down both release buttons and
remove the base unit.
11. Turn the gear attachment anticlockwise
and remove.
12. Hold the blade by the plastic handle and
take out.
■ Clean all parts immediately after use.
Sample recipe:
Honey cake with apples
Honey-apple mixture:
– 100 g forest honey (5 °C)
– 20 g apple in cubes (1 cm)
■ Add to the universal cutter and mix at
setting M for 3 seconds.
Cake:
– 3 eggs
– 60 g butter
– 100 g plain white our
– 60 g ground walnuts
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 2 packets vanilla sugar
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1 apple
■ Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
■ Beat the egg whites until sti.
■ Beat the yolks and sugar, then add
the softened butter and the mixture of
apple and honey.
■ Mix the our, ground walnuts, cinnamon
and baking powder in a separate bowl.
Add to the moist ingredients and mix
in. Using a spatula carefully fold in the
beaten egg whites.
■ Line a rectangular loaf tin (dimensions
35 cm x 11 cm) with greaseproof paper
and pour in the prepared mixture.
■ Peel the apple and slice. Arrange the
slices of apple on the cake.
■ Preheat the oven to 180 °C and bake
the cake for 30 minutes.
Cleaning
The accessories must be thoroughly

cutter with a damp cloth and then rub
dry.
■ When processing food such as carrots,
plastic parts may become discoloured,
but this can be removed with a few
drops of cooking oil.
