Chapter 8 Event and Alarm
This part introduces the conî´ªguration of events. The device takes certain response to
triggered alarm. Certain events may not be supported by certain device models.
8.1 Set Motion Detection
It helps to detect the moving objects in the detection region and trigger the linkage actions.
Steps
1.
Go to Conî´ªguration > Event > Basic Event > Motion Detection .
2.
Select the channel No.
3.
Check Enable Motion Detection.
4.
Optional: Highlight to display the moving object in the image in green.
1)Check Enable Dynamic Analysis for Motion.
2)Go to Conî´ªguration > Local .
3)Set Rules to Enable.
5.
Select Conî´ªguration Mode, and set rule region and rule parameters.

Set the arming schedule and linkage methods. For the information about arming

8.1.1 Normal Mode
You can set motion detection parameters according to the device default parameters.
Steps
1.
Select normal mode in Conî´ªguration.
2.
Set the sensitivity of normal mode. The higher the value of sensitivity is, the more
sensitive the motion detection is. If the sensitivity is set to
0
, motion detection and
dynamic analysis do not take effect.
3.
Click Draw Area. Click and drag the mouse on the live video, then release the mouse to
î´ªnî´ªsh drawing one area.
