3) If "New Pairing Permission" is enabled, click [Yes] on the screen asking to confirm application.
To prevent illegal connections from any tablets and PCs other than the one which you have
connected and to improve security, it is recommended to change the "New Pairing
Permission" setting to Off.
4) When configuration apply is complete, the following screen is displayed and the printer will reset.
If you have changed the device name, delete the old device name in "Devices and Printers", refer to
"1.6.1 Connecting a tablet or PC to the printer (pairing)", and then pair the device with the printer
again.
(6) The following dialog now appears. The dialog shows the queue name and port name for the printer
you are setting up. You can leave the names as they are, or you can change them to anything you
prefer. If you wish to use this printer as your default printer, check [Default Printer]. If you want to
output a test print after completing the settings, check [Print Test Page]. After making appropriate
settings, click [Apply].
The following characters can be used in queue names.
Uppercase and lowercase letters, numerals (0 to 9), hyphens,
underscores, periods, spaces, and parentheses.
