4. MAKING MILK BEVERAGES
4.1 Automatic steaming
Fill a milk jug (A17) with fresh cold milk (between the MIN
and MAX position). The milk will increase by up to triple
in volume. For a denser, more consistent froth, refrigerated
milk must be used (about 41°F / 5°C).
Press the (B4) button to set the desired milk tempera-
ture:
Min temperature (140°F / 60°C)
Med temperature (149°F / 65°C) (default)
High temperature (158°F / 70°C)
Press the (B7) button to set the desired milk texture:
LatteArt - Microfoam texture
Fine texture
Dense texture (default)
Lift the steam wand (A5) in position “M” (g. 10) to make it
easier to position the milk jug (A17) under the steam wand.

Position the steam wand in position A (autosteaming).
Turn the steam lever (A4) into position (g. 11).

• The indicator light blinks. The machine starts making
the froth and delivery stops automatically.
Remove any milk residue from the steam wand with a soft
damp cloth. Place the steam wand in the OFF” position af-
ter each use to start automatic rinsing.
4.2 Manual steaming:
Please note: The milk froth and temperature setting cannot be
selected for this function.
Fill a milk jug (A17) with fresh cold milk (between the min

For manual frothing, place the steam wand in position “M”
(manual steaming), place the milk jug under the steam
wand and turn the steam lever into position (g. 12).

To froth the milk, rest the steam wand on the surface of the
liquid. This will allow air to mix with the milk and steam.
Keep the steam wand in contact with the surface, taking
care not to let in too much air and create excessively large
bubbles.
Immerse the steam wand below the surface of the milk,
this creates a vortex in the liquid.
During Manual steaming, the milk temperature indicator
light will inform you when the milk temperature is reached
(140°F-149°F-158°F / 60-65-70°C)
Once the milk is heated to the desired temperature, turn
