Sabbath Mode
The Sabbath Mode disables portions
of the refrigerator and its controls in
accordance with observance of the
weekly Sabbath and religious holidays
within the Orthodox Jewish community.
Sabbath Mode turns ON and OFF by
simultaneously pressing and holding both
— and Temp F-C for five seconds. The
display shows Sb while in Sabbath mode.
In the Sabbath Mode, the High Temp
alarm is active for health reasons. For
example, if you leave the door ajar, High
Temp activates. The refrigerator functions
normally once you close the door, without
any violation of the Sabbath/holidays.
High Temp alerts when the cabinet
temperature is outside the safe zone for
20 minutes. The alarm silences itself after
10 minutes while High Temp stays lit until
you exit the Sabbath mode.

NOTE
While in Sabbath Mode, the lights, dis-
penser, nor the appliance control display
work until you deactivate Sabbath Mode.
The refrigerator stays in Sabbath Mode
after power failure recovery. You must
deactivate it with the buttons on the
appliance control display.
NOTE
Although you have entered the Sab-
bath Mode, the ice maker completes
the cycle it had already initiated. The
ice cube compartment remains cold
and you can make new ice cubes with
standard trays.
Clear Alerts
Door Open
If you have left the freezer or refrigerator
doors open for five minutes or more, an
alarm sounds and the Door Open indicator
illuminates on the display. Press Clear
Alerts to reset any system alarms.
High Temp Alarm
High Temp illuminates next to Clear
Alerts. The alarm plays every 60 seconds.
Press
Clear Alerts
to acknowledge the
alarm. The highest temp value displays
when the alarm is first acknowledged.
Power Outage
In the event of a power outage, the power
outage alert illuminates. Press
Clear Alerts
to acknowledge the alarm. Other modes
may be turned o until you acknowledge
the alarm. While a power outage alert
displays on the appliance control display,
the unit continues normal operation. The
high temp alarm may also illuminate until
a safe operating range temperature has
been reached.
