âš« By a domain name
A. On the IP device's Web interface, go to Setup >
Network > DDNS, enable DDNS, select DynDNS or
NO-IP, enter the domain name that you have signed up
on the DNS website, enter the username and password,
and then click Save.
B. On the NVR: Select a protocol, enter the domain name
mentioned above, enter the username and password.
The port is the external port of the IP device.
C. Click OK.
NOTE!
âš« If Custom is selected for Protocol, the port is the mapped
external RTSP port of the IP device.
âš« Do not add an IP device to an NVR using different
methods (e.g., IP and MyDDNS) at the same time.
âš« When an IP device is added by MyDDNS, domain name
(NO-IP or DynDNS), or IP (public IP + public port) and it is
not connected to the same router as the NVR, alarm is
configurable, but alarm push is not available.
Option 4
Use this option only when the IP device to add supports the standard
RTSP, and all you need from the IP device are just view live and
playback. IP devices added in this way cannot be configured from the
NVR.
1. Click Camera > Camera.
2. Click Custom Add.
