Appendix: DHCP Settings
To enable DHCP for your switch, it is required to create a new VLAN to help configure
DHCP settings for the default VLAN. Before proceeding with the configurations on the
Switch, first connect your computer to the Switch through one of the PoE ports. We
use port 45 as an example for the following instructions.
Create a new VLAN and enable DHCP for the default VLAN
1. Select VLAN configuration > VLAN configuration > Create /Remove VLAN >
VLAN ID configuration to create a VLAN. Fill in the necessary fields as shown in
the figure below. Here we use VLAN ID 100 as an example.
