1. SAFETY
9 Ensure that the lifting hoist is in good working order. Take action for immediate repair. The use of unauthorised parts may be dangerous
and will invalidate the warranty.
9 Operate the lifting hoist in a suitable, well lit work area.
9 Keep work area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials.
9 Ensure all non-essential persons keep a safe distance whilst lifting.
9 Always screw clamp frame to forks.
8 DO NOT use to lift personnel.
8 DO NOT carry loads over personnel.
8 DO NOT leave suspended loads unattended.
8 DO NOT use the lifting hoist if damaged.
8 DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the lifting hoist.
8 DO NOT exceed the rated capacity of the lifting hoist.
8 DO NOT manually carry assembled hoist by the hook.
9 When not in use, store in a safe, dry, childproof area.
9 Before lifting the load ensure that the forks are in the lowest practical position, that there are no obstacles which may snag the load
whilst it is being lifted and that the area above the forks is clear.
9 To avoid injury, be fully aware of your own and other persons locations in relation to the lifting, and lowering, of the load.
9 Ensure the centre of gravity always remains inside the forks.
8 DO NOT harness the load at an angle or use any attachments not verified as fit for purpose.
8 DO NOT allow the load to swing during lifting/transporting.
8 DO NOT allow the load to drop suddenly. Lower load with care, ensuring that you are fully aware of the condition of the surface onto
which the load is to be placed.
8 DO NOT use this product to perform a task for which it is not designed.
8 DO NOT use whilst under the influence of drugs, alcohol or intoxicating medication.
8 DO NOT climb on the forks.

2. INTRODUCTION
Manufactured from heavy-duty steel for added strength. Easily converts a forklift into a mobile crane. Fitted with opening hook for use
with multiple attachments. Safely secures to forklift using two heavy-duty thumb screws.

4. ASSEMBLY
4.1. Check contents from list in fig.1. In the unlikely event of missing or damaged parts consult your Sealey stockist immediately.
4.2. Initial assembly with the fork lift truck primed for use as in fig.2, the forks pitched at 250mm centrally positioned and raised to a
convenient height.
4.3. Offer the lifting hoist frame (1) on to the forks and slide toward the main body of the fork lift as far as the apparatus to be lifted will allow.
4.4. Clamp the lifting hoist frame with the two tommy bar screws (4).
4.5. Remove the shackle-pin and loop the shackle (3) through the hook eye.
4.6. Offer the hook (2) and shackle up to the lifting hoist frame lug and insert the shackle pin. Tighten with a tommy bar or spanner
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Inspect items after each use for integrity, missing parts and damage.
5.2. Clean with dry or lightly oiled cloth and store indoors.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product
becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and
dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
