Sometimestheimagesizeislargeduetolowlightorcomplexscenery.Adjustingthemaximumframesizehelpstocontrolthe

bandwidthandstorageusedbytheMotionJPEGvideostreaminthesesituations.SettingtheframesizetotheDefaultsetting

providesconsistentlygoodimagequalityattheexpenseofincreasedbandwidthandstorageusageinlowlight.Limitingtheframe

sizeoptimizesbandwidthandstorageusage,butmaygivepoorimagequality.Topreventincreasedbandwidthandstorageusage,

themaximumframesizeshouldbesettoanoptimalvalue.

AnONVIFmediaproleconsistsofasetofcongurationsthatcanbeusedtochangemediastreamsettings.ONVIFmediaproles

canbeusedbyaclienttoconguremediastreamproperties.

TheONVIFMediaProlespagelistsallpreconguredproles.Theseprolesareincludedintheproductforquicksetup.Youcan

add,modifyorremoveONVIFmediaprolesfromthispage.

CameraSettings

TheVideo&Audio>CameraSettingspageprovidesaccesstoadvancedimagesettingsfortheAxisproduct.

Aboutcapturemodes

Thecapturemodesettingreducesimageickerinuorescentlightenvironmentsasimagedataissampledataratethatmatchesthe

localpowerlinefrequency.Capturemodeissetthersttimetheproductisaccessed.Selectthecapturemodewiththepowerline

frequency(50Hzor60Hz)usedatthelocationoftheAxisproductandclickOK.Whenusing50Hz,themaximumframerateis

limitedto25fps.Whenusing60Hz,themaximumframerateislimitedto20fps(withWDR)and30fps(withoutWDR).

Note

Powerlinefrequencyisdifferentindifferentgeographicregions.IntheAmericas,60Hzisusuallyused;mostotherpartsof

theworlduse50Hz.Localvariationsmayapply,alwayscheckwiththelocalauthorities.
