UsetheShocksensitivityslidertoadjustthesensitivitylevelatwhichtheproductshouldsendanalarm.Lowsensitivityvalue

impliesthattheproductwillgenerateanalarmonlyifthehitispowerful.Ahighsensitivityvalueimpliesthattheproductwill

generateanalarmevenwithmildtampering.

TiltDetection

TheAxisproductcandetectifithasbeentilted.Itispossibletogenerateanalarmiftheproduct'smountedpositionchanges,for

SwayingObjectIgnoreFilter

Theswayingobjectlterisusedtoavoiddetectingobjectsthatonlymoveashortdistance,forexamplemovingtrees,agsandtheir

shadows.Usethelterifsuchobjectscausealotoffalsedetections.Iftheswayingobjectsinthescenearelarge,forexamplelarge

pondsorlargetrees,useexcludeareasinsteadofthelter.Thelterwillbeappliedtoallmovingobjectsinsceneand,ifsetto

avaluetoolarge,importantobjectsmightnotbedetected.

Whentheswayingobjectlterisenabledandtheapplicationndsamovingobject,theobjectwillnotbereportedasdetected(red

polygoninvisualconrmation)untilithastravelledadistancelargerthanthesetltersize.Thealarmsentbytheapplicationwillbe

sentwhentheobjectisdetected.Ifthealarmisusedtostartarecording,congurethepre-triggertimesothattherecordingalso

Whentheshort-livedobjectlterisenabledandtheapplicationndsamovingobject,theobjectwillnotbereportedasdetected

(redpolygoninvisualconrmation)untilthesettimeaspassed.Thealarmsentbytheapplicationwillbesentwhentheobjectis

detected.Ifthealarmisusedtostartarecording,congurethepre-triggertimesothattherecordingalsoincludesthetimethe

smallobjectltercanbeusedtoavoiddetectingpeopleandanimals.

Ifusingthesmallobjectlter,takeintoconsiderationthatanobjectfarfromthecameraappearssmallerthananobjectclosetothe

camera.Ifthelterissettoignoreobjectsthesizeofaperson,peoplethatareclosetobecameracanstillbedetectedbecause

theyarelargerthantheltersize.

Toenablethelter:

1.SelecttheSmallobjectsoption.

2.Clickonthe

icontoshowtheltersizeintheimage.

3.Usethemousetoadjusttheltersize.Startwithasmallsize.Movingobjectsthattinsidetherectanglewillbeignored.
