1. SAFETY

9 Familiarise yourself with the product application and limitations, as well as the specic potential hazards peculiar to this product.
9 Maintain pump in good condition. Use an authorised service agent.
9 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use only genuine parts only. Non authorised parts will invalidate warranty.
9 Ensure safety eye protection, protective clothing and gloves are worn when using this product.
9 Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.
9 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the oor is not slippery and wear non-slip footware.
9 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
9 Dispose of waste grease in accordance with local authority regulations.
8 DO NOT: dismantle, tamper with or adapt the pump for any other purpose other than for which it is designed.
8 DO NOT: use the pump if has been dropped or mishandled. Check the pump to ensure there is no damage.
8 DO NOT: allow unauthorised persons to operate the pump.
8 DO NOT: point the pump at yourself or at other persons or animals.
8 DO NOT operate the pump when you are tired, under the inuence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
9 When not in use store in a dry, safe, childproof area.
2. INTRODUCTION
Zinc die-cast pump head with solid steel pump. High-volume, low-pressure output for lling auto chassis lubrication reservoirs.
Central lube coupling supplied with spare plug-in adaptor.

4. ASSEMBLY
Unpack the product and check contents. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your local supplier immediately.
4.1. Insert pump assembly (g 1 - 1) through cover plate (g 1 - 5) and secure in required position by tightening locking screw
(g 1 - 9).
4.2. Remove pin (g 1 - 3) and R clip (g 1 - 4) from handle (g 1 - 2).
4.3. Align end hole in pump piston rod with hole in handle and locate pin through. Re-attach R pin.
4.4. Attach hose (g 1 - 6) to pump outlet and secure with hose clamp (g 1 - 7).
4.5. Thread male adaptor (g 1 - 10) onto hose end. Use thread sealant.
4.6. Thread delivery tub (g 1 - 12) onto female coupler (g 1 - 11) and insert into male adaptor.
4.7. TO REMOVE AIR POCKETS IN CONTAINER
4.7.1. Take a 12.5kg container of grease and hold the container about 25mm above the ground and taking care allow the container to drop
to the oor, the eect of which will settle the contents.
4.8. ASSEMBLY OF PUMP TO THE CONTAINER
4.8.1. Remove the lid from the container.
4.8.2. Install the pre-assembled pump unit and cover plate onto the grease container until it seats rmly and secure with the 3 retaining
wing screws (g 1 - 8).

5. OPERATION
5.1. Prime unit by operating handle slowly until grease emerges from end of delivery tube (g 1 - 12), (approx 20-25 operations).
WARNING! DO NOT allow uncontrolled discharge of grease thus polluting the environment.
5.2. When fully primed a slight resistance will be felt on the pump down stroke indicating the pump is ready for use.
6. MAINTENANCE
Before each use inspect the overall condition of the pump for broken, cracked or bent parts that may effect the proper operation.
