9.2 Defrosting the appliance
9.2.1 Defrosting with NoFrost
Defrosting is performed automatically with the NoFrost
system. The moisture is deposited on the evaporator, is peri‐
odically defrosted and evaporates.
The appliance does not need to be defrosted.
Note
Water droplets may collect on the bottom of the appliance.
When you take the appliance out of operation:

Place a towel in front of the appliance to catch any drops
of water that may run out. (see11Shutting down)
9.3 Cleaning the appliance
9.3.1 Ready

Remove the refrigerator connector or interrupt the power
supply.
WARNING
Risk of fire

Do not damage the refrigeration circuit.
u
Empty the appliance.
u
Remove mains connector.
9.3.2 Clean the housing
NOTICE
Improper cleaning!
Damage to the appliance.

Only use soft cleaning cloths and ph-neutral all-purpose
cleaners.
u
Do not uses abrasive sponges or steel wool which may
cause scratches.
u
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents, nor
any that contain sand, chloride or acid.
WARNING
Risk of injury and damage as a result of hot steam!
Hot steam can lead to burns and can damage the surfaces.

Do not use any steam cleaners!
u
Wipe the housing down with soft, clean cloth. If very
dirty, use lukewarm water with a neutral cleaner. Glass
surfaces can also be cleaned with glass cleaner.
9.3.3 Cleaning the mosquito screen

Clean the mosquito screens regularly with a vacuum
cleaner.
u
Remove stubborn stains with a soft cloth.
9.3.4 Cleaning the interior

9.3.6 Cleaning the EasyTwist-Ice
Clean the EasyTwist-Ice in the following situations:

Not using for more than 48 hours

When cleaning is required
Dismantling the EasyTwist-Ice
Make sure that the following requirements are fulfilled:

The drawer has been removed. (see8.1 Drawers)

The drawer is placed on a table.
