Accessing the Product
Note
The default a dministrator user name root is permanent and cannot be deleted.
If the password for root is lost, the product mu st be reset to the factory default settings. See

Set P ower Line Frequency
Power line frequency is set the rst time the Axis product is accessed and can only be changed from Plain Cong(see
page 52
)
or by resetting the product to factory default.
Select the power line freq uency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) used at the location of the Axis product. Selecting the wrong frequency may cause
image ickeriftheproductisusedinuorescent light environments.
When using 50 H z, the max imum frame rate is limited to 25 fps.
Note
Power line frequency is different in different geographic regions. In the Americas, 60 Hz is usually us ed; m ost other parts of
the world use 50 Hz. Local variations may apply, always check with the local authorities.

The Stream Prole drop-
down list allows you to select a customized or pre-programmed stream prole. Stream
proles are congured under Video & Audio > Stream Proles.See

Click Pulse to activate the built-in light for a dened period of time, for example 20 seconds.
