1. SAFETY
9 Ensure the compressor tank is in a good condition before use. If in any doubt do not use the tank and contact a service agent.
9 Locate the compressor tank in a well ventilated area, away from heat sources, corrosives and inflammable materials.
9 Ensure the compressor tank is placed on a firm, level surface.
WARNING! DO NOT tamper with, or attempt to adjust, the safety valve.
9 Before moving, or working on, the compressor tank, ensure that all tank pressure has been vented.
9 Use only authorised attachments and parts. Unauthorised items may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9 Ensure the air supply valve is turned off before disconnecting the air supply hose.
9 Ensure air hoses are not tangled, twisted or pinched.
9 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
9 Read the instructions relating to any accessory to be used with this compressor tank.
9 Ensure the safe working pressure of any air appliance used exceeds the compressor tanks output pressure. If using a spray gun, check
that the area selected for spraying is provided with an air change system/ventilation.
8 DO NOT install the compressor tank outdoors, or in a damp, or wet location.
8 DO NOT use the compressor tank to perform a task for which it is not designed to do.
8 DO NOT deface, or remove, the certification plate attached to the compressor tank.
WARNING! DO NOT direct the compressed air output towards people or animals.
WARNING! The compressor tank is a pressure vessel and the following safety measures apply:
8 DO NOT use the compressor tank without the safety valve fitted.
8 DO NOT tamper with the safety valve, DO NOT modify or alter the compressor tank in any way and DO NOT strap anything to it.
8 DO NOT subject the compressor tank to impact, vibration or heat and DO NOT allow contact with abrasives or corrosives.
9 Drain condensation from compressor tank daily, and have a detailed inspection carried out annually. The compressor tank shell must not
fall below the certified thickness at any point.
9 Keep tools and other items away from the compressor tank when it is in use, and keep area clean and clear of unnecessary items.
9 When not in use for a prolonged period, and if possible, store the compressor carefully in a safe, dry, childproof location.

by the operator.
2. INTRODUCTION
Compressed air receiver manufactured to meet Pressure Vessel Directive and supplied with test certicate. Includes tting kit,
safety valve, gauge and drain valve (hose not included). Can also be used in conjunction with other Sealey compressors.

5. ASSEMBLY
5.1. Once positioned, the compressor tank should be fixed to the floor utilising the holes provided in
the supports.
5.2. Using 3/8”M -1/4”F fitting, fit pressure gauge to port A (if tank is designed with two ports, close
the other port with a 3/8”M x 1/4”F fitting and a1/4”M blanking plug).
5.3. Fit the 1/4” valve to the lower 1” port B using 1”M x 3/4”F and 3/4”M x 1/4”F fittings. This port is
the inlet.
5.4. Fit a 1/2” valve to the 1” port C, using 1”M x 3/4”F and 3/4”M x 1/2”F fittings. This port is the
outlet.
5.5. Fit a 1/2” valve to the lower 2” port D using 2”M-1/2”F fitting, to allow drainage of condensation.
5.6. Fit the safety valve to port E using 2”M x 1/2”F and 1/2”M x 3/8”F fittings.
5.7. Connect an air supply hose to inlet port (B) valve and to outlet of supply compressor. If
compressor has regulated and unregulated outlets, connect to the unregulated outlet.
NOTE To reduce the risk of leaks, seal all joints with PTFE tape and then bubble test.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product
becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and
dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
