Place one hand on the machine, and using the other hand pull the recoil un you feel a
resistance, then pull briskly. Repeat machine starts.
When the engine starts move the choke to the OFF . DO NOT let go of the recoil handl
e
instead allow the recoil cord to return gently. Once started you need to reduce the choke by
slowly moving lever to RUN
if engine falters move choke between START/RUN

For COLD starting, pull the choke lever out to the start position. You will NOT need to
perform this step when HOT starting. *NOTE* If the machine struggles to start following
these instructions, use Trigger Lock as explained on the next page.
