Rack Accessories and Features
Extra Tall Item Sprinkler (model dependent)
If an item is too tall to be placed in the bottom rack even with the top rack in the
raised position, remove the empty top rack by pulling it out of the dishwasher until it
stops. Pull the front of the rack upward and outward until the rollers are completely
free of the roller guides.
Set the top rack aside. Push the roller guides back into the dishwasher. Insert the
Extra Tall Item Sprinkler into the top rack spray outlet and turn the sprinkler clock-
wise to lock into position. See
Figure 1
.
Note: Keep the vent on the tub’s right side clear by placing tall items such as plas-
tic cutting boards and tall baking sheets on the bottom rack’s left side or center.
NOTICE
To avoid dishwasher damage, do not reinstall the top rack without removing the
Extra Tall Item Sprinkler.
Flip Tines
The racks consist of tines that can be folded down depending on what you may need to
load in the rack. To fold down, grasp the folding tine and release from notch. Push fold-
ing tine downward to desired position as shown in
Figure 2
.
Adjustable Upper Rack Height
The height of the upper rack can be adjusted in 3 steps to create more space.
1 Pull out and empty the top rack.
2 To lower the rack, push the lever inward then upward and lower the rack.
3 To raise the rack, hold the basket on the sides and lift up.
Before pushing the rack back in, ensure that it is level. If the rack is not level, the
dishwasher door cannot be closed and the upper spray arm will not be connected
to the water supply.
Wine Glass Capacity
Note: This capacity is dependent on size and shape
of wine glasses.
Accommodates up to 18 large wine glasses in the top
and bottom rack. Fold down the cup shelves and
wine stem bar on the bottom rack and move flip tines
to a 45 degree angle. Placing glasses on angled flip
tines, rest the stems against wine stem bar and cup
shelves, allowing for two rows (12 wine glasses) in
the bottom rack as shown in
Figure 4
.
On top rack, fold down the cup shelves and rest glass
stems allowing for one row (6 wine glasses) in the top
rack as shown in
Figure 5
.
