You should hold down the control knob for 20 seconds after the flame on the burner
has lit.
After this 20 second interval, turn the control knob to your required setting between
the maximum and minimum setting symbols.
To switch the burner off, turn the control knob fully clockwise to the gas off position.
In case of power failure, the burners can be lit by carefully using a match.
