DIRECT CONNECT APPLICATIONS
MAKE WIRE LEAD CONNECTIONS INSIDE THE JUNCTION BOX
!, Makeall wire connections by usingappropriate UL-listedelectrical connectors and techniques.
2. Selectthe applicable wiring situation and follow the instructions accordingly:
1-Phase 220-240 VAC
Whenconnecting theZonelineto a single-phase circuit
for 230Vapplications:
Connectthe white and black leads of the Zoneline
power supply kit to the branch circuit L1and L2 leads,
(Thewhite lead of the power supply kit should be
identified bythe installer using electrical tape with some
color other than green or white.)Connectthe green lead
of the power supply kit to the power supply and branch
circuit ground.
3-Phase 208 VAC
Whenconnecting theZonelineto a three-phasecircuit
for 208Vapplications:
Connectthe white and black leads of the Zoneline
power supply kit to the branch circuit L1and L2 leads.
(Thewhite lead of the power supply kit should be
identified bythe installer using electrical tape with some
color other than green or white.)Connectthe green lead
of the power supply kit to the power supply and branch
circuit ground.
3-Phase 208 VACwith "Crazy Leg"
Whenconnecting theZonelineto a three-phasecircuit
with "CrazyLeg"for 208V applications:
Connectthe white and black leadsof the Zoneline
power supply kit to the branch circuit Neutral and LZ
leads.(Thewhite lead of the power supply kit should
be connected to neutral.)Connect the green lead of
the power supply kit to the power supply and branch
circuit ground.
3-Phase 253-277 VAC
Whenconnecting theZonelineto a three-phasecircuit
for265V applications:
Connectthe white and black leadsof the Zoneline
power supply kit to the branch circuit Neutral and L!
leads.(Thewhite lead of the power supply kit should
be connected to neutral.)Connect the green lead of
the power supply kit to the power supply and branch
circuit ground.

Besurethat all wire leads are insidethe junction box and not
pinched between the box and the unit. Thegreen insulated
ground wire from the ZonelineMUSTbe connected to the branch
circuit ground wire,
Plugthe 9-pin connector into the 9-pin receptacle in thejunction box.
Replacethejunction box cover by replacing the two screws
removed earlier.
