The Dispenser Drawer
Slowlyopen the dispenser drawer by pulling
it out until it stops.
After addinglaundry products,slowly dose
the dispenserdrawer.Closingthe drawer too
quicklycouldresultin earlydispensingof the
bleach,fabric softeneror detergent.
Youmay seewater in the bleachand fabric
softenercompartmentsat the end of the cycle.
Thisis a resultof the flushing/siphoningaction
and is part of the normal operationof the
washer.
ThePrewashCompartment (onsomemodels)
i Only usethe PrewashCompartment if you
are selectingthe Prewashcycle for heavily
soiled clothes.Add measureddetergent or
prewashadditive to the back left prewash
compartment of the dispenserdrawer.
[] Detergentor prewashadditive is flushed
from the dispenserin the prewashcycle
(if selected).
NOTE:Liquid detergentwill drain into the
washerdrum as it is added.
[] Detergentusage may need to be adjusted
for water temperature,water hardness,size
and soil level of the load.Avoid usingtoo
muchdetergent inyour washeras it can lead
to over sudsinganddetergent residuebeing
lefton the clothes.

The Detergent Compartment
[]High-efficiency detergent is required
for this washer. Usethe detergent
manufacturer's recommended amount.
The detergentselection insert must beplaced
inthe detergent compartment in a specific
positionaccording to what type of detergent
you are using.

in the rear position.The PowderIcons_
must line up on center when the insert
is inthe powder position.
[] Liquid Detergent- Youwill needto adjust
the insert accordingto the type of Liquid
Detergentyou are using.The iconson the
sideof the detergentcompartment must line
up onthe center when the insert is in
position.
NOTE:Not all models have the 2x and 3x
detergentsettings.Some have only regular
HEdetergentsettings. Youmust reducethe
amount of detergent for 2x or 3x detergent
per bottleinstructions.
Hovethe insert by pulling it up and replace
it by sliding it down betweeneither the rear
or front detergent compartment molded rails,
as desired,for powder or liquiddetergent.

detergent compartment of the dispenser
drawer.

Detergentis flushedfrom the dispenser
at the beginningof the wash cycle. Either
powderedor liquid detergent can be used.
Detergentusage may needto be adjusted
for water temperature,water hardness,
sizeand soil levelof the load.Avoid usingtoo
muchdetergent in your washer as it can lead
to oversudsingand detergent residuebeing
left onthe clothes.

The Liquid Bleach Compartment
IMPORTANT:The bleach compartment
position varies by model.Be sure to identify
the correct compartment for bleach before
using.

amount of liquid bleach,not to exceed
1/5 cup (80ml),and pour into the center
compartment labeled"LIQUIDBLEACH"
markedwith this symbol,/_,.
Do not exceedthe maximumfill line.Overfilling
can causeearlydispensingof the bleach which
could resultin damagedclothes.
NOTE:Do not usepowdered bleachin the
dispenser.
